GM's thread about nothing (31 Viewers)

We made a cop friend at the bar a few years back that I was always kind of suspicious of but I've come to conclude he's a solid guy. It always made me uncomfortable that he would be sitting at our table while people would be walking up to my GB placing bets.Anyhow, there was a big bank robbery here a few months back and the thieves got away with around 3 million. He got a tip on a guy and pulled his car over. In the trunk was a suitcase with a little over 2 million dollars in $100 bills. He said that was packed so tight that when he opened it, the suitcase "exploded" with $100 bills. This was two days after the robbery and the moron still had the gun and ski mask in the car. This story is pending because there are 4 other accomplices they are after and this cat ain't talking. To answer your question, there were two Feds with him.
I would be the most dishonest cop ever.
Hey, GB. I think you're wrong.
You and I as uniformed cops would be about the funniest things ever.

There was $3mil stolen, $2mil recovered...

wtf are gadzooks/hjs/et al to pass along some wild weekend stories of debauchery and the such?geez, man,
Perhaps they are all witholding under fear of being judged a cad by Krista.
I still don't understand what that was all about. I meant to footnote it for later, but forgot along with most everything that enters my little brian.
I believe she is displeased with Stu's newfound manwhore status, the acclaim that seems to have brought him, and the fact that he's willing to share with the masses the fruits of his labor. More specifically, I believe she perceives there to be a double-standard in that we glorify Stu for his behavior, while calling the women who participate in such activities whores and the like. I still don't understand why that's a bad thing. I'm a big fan of whores. I'd feel bad speaking for her, but she passed on the opportunity to speak for herself, so I'll just drop my Madden-esque 2 cents in there."And then he hit that hole over there *bang*..."

I think it was more that the masses applauded his exploits with a married woman while scorning the exploits of our other friends wife.

I'm not really a fan of monogamy for that reason. If someone wants to try a different piece, they should be open to do so. As long as it's purely physical, I don't see the problem. It might actually save marriages.

I fail to see why that's a problem. Stu's not married. That other person's wife was.

Hate to disagree with you but my wife's bizarre and unexplainable willingness to have sex with me is what keeps me around.

I think Bobby Sac hit the nail on the head.full disclosure, I believe Krista prefaced her post by saying she was drunk. In my experience, drunk women are usually nonsensical, no offense to any women here (YSR, Krista, Early, et al).

There's an application of logic there that doesn't quite mesh with me. Stu never took a vow to not #### somebody else's wife. She took a vow to not #### somebody else. I'd say the appropriate horses have been backed.

If you wanted a better point of comparison, I don't think anybody was on here telling our other GB what a great idea it was to have extramarital relations at the time. She's looking for consistency where there need be none.

:subscribe: I've been in open (dating) relationships. If you're both grownups about it and have open communication lines, it can work.Of course the problem is, most men only want that openness in the relationship for them with the wifey pledging eternal monogamy.

Similarly, I think Truck in particular spelled out that while [ ] 's actions against the wife shtupper were entertaining, he shouldn't really be the target of our GB's ire. I don't think many/anyone disputed that, including the person on the wrong side of the shtupping.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I don't remember :hifive:s being passed around when any married FBGs stepped out. There probably weren't the pitchforks she was looking for either, but that goes back to the whole knowing the cheater (and their side of the story) versus knowing the "cheatie".It's easy to judge people you don't know. Doesn't matter which type of reproductive organs they have.

I hear ya. :excited:

Ahhhh, but if the roles were reversed and it was Stu's wife stepping out on him, we'd not only destroy her reputation, but call out a witch hunt for the 'other man', who we would no doubt threaten to harm. I think I see where she is coming from. Maybe.Course I have had the swell good fortune of having my own personal transgressions publicized for mass consumption (not looking for pity here, just stating the facts and owning up to the fact that what happened to me was a product of my own fault) and can certainly attest that I took my lumps for what happened. I don't think anybody ever said "Hey, way to cheat on your wife, GM". I'm just glad I got a second chance with some of you and understand if people still think I'm horrible for what I did.Oh, and I think we applaud Stu because he looks like GI Joe.

So if she never wanted to have sex wiht you again but was fine with you getting it elsewhere, you wouldn't want her? Sex drives all differ. I think everyone should get as much as they want.

Oh yes, I forgot about him. He was cheered on for cheating...by some.

I think you're missing the point. Not sure if I could find (con, trick, convince) someone else to have sex with.

Where is that dream about a fbg thread? When I got there from the airport over all the hills and valleys...

It's been six years and cost me my first marriage. Best way for me to ensure it never happens again is to own it and discuss it openly.

My guess would be consumption of alchohol combined with a monthly hormonal fluctuation. Although in saying that, I risk being judged a mysoginist for assuming that any irrational, emotional aberration from a woman is caused by such a biological influence but in reality, I'm well aware that women are aware of irrational, emotional aberrations by women are possible at any time.

If it's equality the women want, fine!

I'll suck it up and volunteer to be the target of anger from the rest of the posters on here. Who's going to be the Disco Stu to my cheating whore?

:takesonefortheteam:

If I, could we both be a hero?My husband doesn't appreciate my thoughts on openness. What a prude.

Now you guys see what I was saying earlier today? Some women (maybe of a certain age) are not going to approve. This happens and they'll try to keep their boyfriends/husbands from going out with their GB Stu. :lmao:
Pathetic. Incredibly pathetic. And waaaaaaaaay beneath you, I thought.ETA: In keeping with the way you have changed, perhaps? Very sad for you. :(
Woah... that must not have come out right. Didn't mean to offend you.Acknowledgment of age is always risky but seemed relevant, since perspectives/attitudes seem to change with time. Maybe not.EDIT: Was mostly just trying (unsuccessfully) to tie this in with my post about last night in an attempt to justify my ridiculed complaint. Connection was admittedly flimsy.
Not an issue of age. You might wish to re-read your post (ask Sacamano if you need help :) ).
I've read it a half dozen times. Gonna need the help.
Since we're rehashing this stuff... I still have no idea wtf happened here. Anyone?I'll hang up and listen.

Some women (of a certain age?) apparently don't approve.
She was more offended that age was brought into it. Are morals age specific?
You know these kids today with their hair and their 'rock a roll' and their sex..."
I don't think that's accurate.
