GM's thread about nothing (32 Viewers)

Do we eat white pizza in here, or is that frowned upon? White with banana peppers and tomato (sometimes onions as well) is good. Peppers (hot sweet or red) and onions is my goto on real pizza too.

There's a place here in Granada that serves an amazing white pizza with spicy sausage and gorgonzola. :wub:

Sausage is ####### delicious.

That said, I'm not a big fan of the meat lover's pizza. Or some kind of "combo" with like 30 things on it. There is an ideal, magical number of toppings on a pizza, and it is three.

Pepperoni, sausage, and either green olives or green peppers.

 
Mineo's in Pittsburgh puts their pepperoni under the cheese (and they use a lot of cheese). This is the only place I get pepperoni from anymore (not that I eat as much pizza as I'd like to) and it's great.

My preliminary negotiations with Lazy-eyed black chick took a weird sideways turn over the weekend.

"She" (more on the quotation marks in a sec) was supposedly camping on the Shenandoah River this weekend. Meantime, her on-line profile has changed every time I've looked at it the last week or so. In any case, she invited me to camp with her Saturday night. I had had way too much to drink (see: my idiocy here in trying to deal with the daughter-porn-whatever thread) and told her no, but that we should meet one evening this week. She tried several more times to get me to whatever campground she was staying at. I kept begging off in favor of a weekeday meet-up. All at once, she goes on a several-post rant about how she doesn't want to meet in a restaurant/bar anymore. I can understand, so I told her I wasn't offering a place like that, just didn't want to drive while I was ####ed up Saturday night. She went the hell off on me, basically saying "you meet me here now, or never". I stopped responding, since I had random internet people to cuss at. Ain't heard a word since.

Looking at how the profile has changed, it's almost like it's trying to narrow down and separate someone from the herd. I'm not usually too paranoid about meeting someone after an on-line exchange because females have to be even more careful than men. This is the first time I've offered a public meeting that pissed a woman off just by the offer.

I'm not posting the profile here because I'm not sure, but the thought went through my head that this may have been a couple of idiots/psychos trying to set someone up.

It read even moreso. Maybe I'm overreacting, but the whole thing was just so odd. And, given where I live and some of the local news stories, my Spidey-sense got to tingling.

Yeah. When I brought up the whole "public" thing, she said "what's more public than a campground?". I've camped in places you'd die in and not be found for years.

I hate pepperoni under the cheese. i like it on top where it crisps up like bacon and oozes red grease into the melted cheese.

 
Yellow onions, pepperoncinis, sliced tomato, gyro meat and a spicy yoghurt sauce is the correct answer.

Or, Bacon, caramelized onions

Or, steak, Gorgonzola and salami

Or, sausage, pickled red bell pepper, onions and tons of Tabasco.
