I'm in the basement now and Dylan was with me. He heard the water from the bathtub running down...

D: Daddy, what's that sound?

M. Come here son. (Ready to drop some knowledge, I pick a pen up and drop it on the desk). Why did that pen fall like that?

D: Because of gravity.

M. That's right. <_< So what you heard was when Calvin was emptying the bathtub a....

D: Oh. It was the water draining. Water always runs downhill right? Well unless it is outside then it could evaporate and go up into the sky.

M: Nice talk son. Go get your snack, it's almost time for bed.

YSR, little parenting tip, give your kid something they love. Maybe even spend a little more than you want. Then take it away every time they get out of line.

We're doing this with Lego Star Wars for the XBOX with JR. Little ####er usually straightens right up when threatened with not getting to play it after dinner.

I do that with my kid's matchbox/hot wheels cars. He has a billion of them, but if I just a portion of them in a tub and take them away he acts like I just punched him in the face.

My Dad thought it would be neat to buy them Nintendo 3DS's. I had no idea how much they cost or I would have made the boys return them. Threaten taking them away and they STF up though. Of course I take them away randomly when I think they are playing too much so it may lose its effectiveness.

How often do you punch him in the face? Not judging here.

Hmph. We're in Memphis and I DON'T MISS A DAMN THING ABOUT THIS PLACE. Sorry Fuller et al.
Really ? That's intereting. I love Memphis. It's one of those rare American "biggish" cities that most people would never have any reason to visit. It's not on the way to anywhere unless you've been cursed to have to get to Nashville or Dallas by way of Arkansas. It's 700k people, the Mississippi River, and Graceland. I think it's a neat place.

JR's deal is that we play one level of Lego Star Wars every night after dinner. It usually takes about 30 minutes. I also give Yuke a controller that's not even connected and we all three sit on the couch together and play. I'm pretty sure that I'm as disappointed as he is the nights that he loses out on getting to play.

Drunk young ish girl is flirting with me. Give me a line to seal the deal
"Do you know what my breakfast, a microwave and you have in common"?

Only when he deserves it.

Good news alert

So I hit my bonus for Q3, the first time it was available. Hitting a casino and a bachelor party for the weekend so that's pretty much a wash.
Yes! Missed this earlier.

It's the Giza part.

I don't want to live there. I pass through often. But I also find the Mississippi River enchanting and love most everything about Tennessee.

TIger Fan - off to see a Pearl Jam cover band at the Hard Rock Pittsburgh, then the real thing tomorrow at the Consol across town....first time seeing PJ...Anything to expect? Anything that they may not play?(if they play Black and Yellow Ledbetter my wife will go nuts)
:goodposting:

She will be a happy girl if u know what I mean

First show on a new tour, could be all over the place. They really mix up their sets alot, so don't expect all the hits. About the only thing you're guaranteed to hear is Even Flow. More likley to hear Ledbetter than Black. But you could hear both.

YOU NEVER KNOW :excited:
Glad you got both
