It's a good day when "The Ballad of Chasey Lain" comes up randomly on your playlist, with someone in your office.
Do we dare ask what else is on this abortion of a playlist?
Was simply "My Favorite Songs" on Slacker. There was a drunk night in Austin during ACL where we passed around the phone and played the most ridiculous stuff we could think of. Somehow they all were favored. It makes me laugh when this one pops up so I left it in.

Is there a name for this phenomenon: in the conference session I am currently sitting in, there is a girl that may be one of the ten most beautiful people I've ever seen...from the neck up. She's about 30 pounds overweight from the shoulders down.

Oh yeah, I keep expecting to see Bentley jump on stage and give a keynote.
Makes her about a 9 on the :Christodee: scale. Can't determine if she's a 10 until he bush is assessed.

Is it possible to have my 2 aliai un-suspended since i've been on such good behavior? I don't even know why they are suspended until Sept. 2014. Maybe it's too late for me to go back and this is my new identity.

Lots of euro douchers in ferrari jackets hanging out here in downtown austin. Something about an f1 race here this weekend.

I miss Austin. I was looking up something in my bank statement and saw my Square receipt for 146 bucks to Kababalicious and immediately wanted to drive down and get one.

a) I've got box suites to a Calgary Flames game tonight and Rudnicki is in New Orleans. Glitch in the matrix /Joe Bryant

2. I haven't watched wrestling in years, but Wrestlemania is coming to NOLA next year. So i just paid $200 for floor tix :oldunsure: My buddy ensures me that if we decide not to go we can make some serious money selling them as there will be hoards of Japanese businessmen coming in for this

# - Ice Bags & Nachos will have a big week

TIA

My headache is not improving. I am on the bus headed to house of blues and all of its open bar goodness.

On a serious note, somebody dropped a lot of coin on this conference. I've never been to anything like this. I have my own room at the Waldorf, I've gotten tons of shwag, they are giving away everything from iPads to google glasses to a Segway. And I met the Incredible Hulk. I'm a VIP so the college coeds are now tending to me again and it has cost me a grand total of $26 (the cheeseburger i ordered from room service last night)).

Maybe being self-employed isn't always that much more awesome than working for someone else

I hear the strip clubs in Tampa are noteworthy. Please report first-hand.

Hey everybody...

Haven't checked in for a while but there's something cool on tonight some of you might enjoy. The new Pawn Stars episode at either 9:30 or 10:30 eastern time. An attorney I work with has a client who owns Johnny Cash's old Rolls Royce. Got it right from the man himself. They took it out to Vegas last month and put it on the show on their way to drop it off in Hollywood for some upcoming auction. The guy is going to be on with W.S. "Fluke" Holland, Johnny's drummer and, I believe, the only surviving member of the Tennessee 3. We met him about a year and a half ago when he was in town here for an appearance. Took him to the car and he told us all kinds of stories. I'll try to get back on later and fill in some more detail, but thought some of you might be interested in checking it out.

ETA: 10:30 eastern is the correct time.

The car was a gift to Cash from the network when the Johnny Cash Show was #1. Fluke Holland and another guy from Johnny's entourage went to New York to pick it up at the docks and drive it back to Tennessee. Before he was a drummer Fluke was a mechanic, so whenever something went wrong with one of Johnny's cars he would have Fluke take a look at it. At one point he put a little spot weld on the float in the carburetor on the Rolls. This would have been back in the mid-70s. A couple years ago when we took him to see the car he popped the hood, looked in, and said "well whattaya know. My weld is still holding."

I haven't been this hungover in a very long time. On the plus side I just had my picture taken with Lou Ferigno.
I had my picture taken with Lou Ferrigno when I was a kid. :hifive:
You sure?

My brother in law thought for years he had his picture taken with Lou only to later figure out it was just some guy painted green at a car show.

:lmao: It was at a World's Strongest Man competition and he wasn't painted.

I always forget the Thursday night game is on...mostly because I forget that it's Thursday.

I seriously would've bet a kidney that it was Wednesday. My life is strange.

My wife is insane. My girl broke out in hives the other day, and after taking her to the doctor the doc said it was an allergy to something, most likely the cough medicine we had started giving her for a really bad cough - medicine she'd never had before. Now, thanks to the miracle of facebook/internet/her friends, she's wondering if we should stop letting her have peanuts or almonds or like, 500 other things. Keep in mind this kid has a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch every single day.
