GM's thread about nothing (6 Viewers)

Once you select your roster, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU START ALL YOUR PLAYERS. I will come behind you and make sure you do this as well, but please start and activate your roster prior to game number 1.

Good luck and let's get this thing cranking!
This may be worth the $20 entry fee alone.
 :lmao: :lmao: I was talking to Krista, Early, Mr. Krista and YSR only here.
:lmao: Annnnnd now, we're under a tornado watch until 11 p.m. Happy freakin' New Year, indeed. :banned:

Won my fantasy league this year. Heavy IDP league, I almost feel like I should send gifts to Messrs Bramel, Norton and Rudnicki. Excellent work gentlemen.

GD IT, I DON'T WANT TO GO OUT TO A NICE DINNER TONIGHT.

I just want to grill a couple of steaks at home.

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will. - Vince Lombardi
This is my new motto for the coming year.I like it.

I'm going to learn it

I'm going to live it.

After my health scare a few weeks ago, I have no choice.

Happy New Year to everyone, even the people who don't like me.
Happy New Year jerk faces.

Gotta go, party starting.

So basically nearly everyone who regularly participates in this thread:1. Drinks too much2. Has trouble sleeping3. Was a slacker in collegeInteresting.
And don't forget:#4 has a story about ####ing in their pants#5 has gotten caught self-pleasuring himself in numerous awkward situations#6 loves bacon
1. Not often, but when I do I mean it.2. Yep3. No 4. No, but my dad did while I was in the car with him.5. Twice6. You betcha7. (degenerate gambler) Yeah.

I didn't live on campus in college but I have a yes to all the others. And the #### story was as an observer to someone else crapping themselves.

And I was never caught pleasuring myself by myself but my mom walks in on us all too frequently and just excuses herself, "I'll go get some coffee!"

Yeah, sometimes it's the only way to get any sleep.
I'm really surprised to find this out about you guys, Bentley too.Krista, I get a lot of work done too. I try to refrain from leaving voice mails but it most definitely happens. I usually take the time to think about strategies and new offerings. However, sometimes I'll get a song in my head and I can't get it out. Once when I was around 12 this happened and I physically got sick. I still hate Magic Bus.I taught myself a trick to self hypnotize myself some years ago that works a lot of the time. I imagine my self lying face down and I slowly start to float up into the air. I imagine how everything gets smaller until I'm in outer space, passing the moon, feeling the coldness and darkness of space, passing the planets etc. I usually start to fall asleep when I'm about to leave the galaxy.
I'm going to try that.Have tried Lunesta, Sonata, Ambien, various "PM" stuff (Tylenol, Advil, Myocalm), natural crap like melatonin and valerian, and a few others I've forgotten, all at the highest allowable dosage, all with no success.A doctor prescribed Seroquel, used to treat schizophrenia, to a friend of mine who had similar "brain won't shut down" issues, and she gave me one to try. I took half of one, slept for seven hours straight, and never took it again because that kind of thing scares the crap out of me.* But it's the only thing that ever worked.*Can we rephrase "scared the crap out of me" to "Bonzai'd me"?
So it's random stuff you're thinking of? Not just stuff you "have to do?"

Random thought here.

So like many in this thread, I've been here since ole yeller...however once in a while I stumble across a username who I'm not familiar with. Until this thread, I hadn't ever heard of St. Louis Bob, yet he's been here since the day this board opened (assuming at ole yeller as well). No clue why, as I've been active the entire time. Wonder who else out there I'm unaware of.

:excited:

really haven't heard of SLB? He's been a big-timer over the last year for sure. Cat shirt down?

Oh, WWTDD.com has their countdown of the 100 biggest "stories" of the year. Good stuff. Also, pics of an un-made-up Katy Perry. :lmao:

St Louis Bob started a thread back in 2004 challenging me to a sig bet over the red sox/cards world series, much to my confusion. I knew him from before that but I had never really interacted much directly with him. i remember him being a really good sport about it, though, and I started to become a fan of his work, although he was a bit of a conspiracy theorist back then. he's really turned it on the last couple years, though, and while he's been around for a while, he's the face of this generation of the FFA every bit as much as scupper, capella, :11:, tufnel, tanner, norville, woz, and so on have taken their turn leading the pack. You've been added to the FFA index, SLB. Big fan.

Damning him with faint praise a bit here, frank.

@####mydadsays

"No thanks. I don't need a party to celebrate New Year's. All I need is a bottle of bourbon and a t-shirt that hangs down passed my balls."

Another year of facing our mortality together with ABC. **** Clark isn't even the worst of it. Seacrest, Fergie, and Jenny McCarthy are horrid, too, but the real issue right now is that there are two different boybands singing together, and they've gotten old enough that half of them are fully bald. Old Guys on the Block? This is the best they could come up with?
