Judging by Tanner's Scramble activity and posts in here it sure seems like summer school is a hell of a lot more involved than regular school.
I always assumed summer school was similar to substitute teacher days and kids just mostly goofed off and watched videos.

I've been teaching basically the same thing for 15 years. I have everything I need to teach 8th grade History...tests, lessons, worksheets, activities, catalog of vids, etc.
I've never taught government/econ. Although I have pre-canned tests I have to create everything else from scratch. We cover almost 2 CHAPTERS PER DAY. That means when I get home I usually spend a few hours putting together Power Points and other crap.
The good news is that if I do the same thing next year it'll be much easier.
