GM's thread about nothing (59 Viewers)

So crab fries are just french fries with old bay seasoning? What is this garbage?
The greatest, bestest, most scrumptious fries in the world.
Fries with Old Bay are delicious, but calling them "crab fries" is dumb. Have never heard that before. Seems misleading; someone should rustle up a lawyer from the lawyers thread to sue someone.
Put me in, coach.
Can we pay you in crabby patties?

If that's a sex thing, yes.

Judging by Tanner's Scramble activity and posts in here it sure seems like summer school is a hell of a lot more involved than regular school.

I always assumed summer school was similar to substitute teacher days and kids just mostly goofed off and watched videos.

:lmao: I've been teaching basically the same thing for 15 years. I have everything I need to teach 8th grade History...tests, lessons, worksheets, activities, catalog of vids, etc.

I've never taught government/econ. Although I have pre-canned tests I have to create everything else from scratch. We cover almost 2 CHAPTERS PER DAY. That means when I get home I usually spend a few hours putting together Power Points and other crap.

The good news is that if I do the same thing next year it'll be much easier.

#1 Rule of PowerPoint. Unless you're showing a timeline that breaks across several slides. Then a Push transition works beautifully.

I briefly dated a kindergarten teacher. One of the things that helped it end was when I questioned her need to spend HOURS EVERY DAY working on her lesson plan. One, it's kindergarten. Two, you've been a K teacher for 9 years. She didn't react well.

Poor Guster. Went from having this awesome road trip with Thorn and Rude planned to pretty much flying solo from Cincinnati to Beerhole. :(

still time for him to fly I guess
Took a look at flights at they were $450+ vs ~2 tanks of gas

Looked at Amtrak, but no good options out of Cincy to get to Chicago or Milwaukee

Maybe I'll see if I can figure out speech to text on my phone and live blog the drive in here

Maybe he can bring his new lady friend now that they are exclusive.
:oldunsure: don't recall saying that we are exclusive

Plus she's going to be in Madison the weekend before, so doesn't really need to do that drive all over again

wait, what?
there's an outing called beerhole. it will take place in Milwaukee over an upcoming weekend. Guster lives in Cincinnati. Thorn was going to fly to Cincinnati and they were going to drive together to Milwaukee, while also picking me up along the way.

Then I changed my plans to join SLB on the train and Thorn booked a direct flight to Milwaukee. Now Guster has nobody to drive with unless Shuke feels comfortable leaving his wife with the babysitter.

Pretty sure this is the part of the show where Homer finds a reason to get out of bed.

But, beer. And lots of it

Pretty sure I can pull some strings and get Miller to let you swim in your own vat of Lite.
