GM's thread about nothing (69 Viewers)

So it's NOT OK to have relations with your step-sister, then?
It's not okay to talk about it and post pictures of her, I'm guessing.
I always heard southerners were a more tolerant people in regard to these types of issues.
I didn't axe the thread.
Thanks?
I feel like we're talking past each other. Counseling seems in order.

Anyone been to pismo beach? I was going to go to Santa Monica fora couple days at the end of my conference, but it's dreadfully expensive and unsure I want to hang out with throngs of body builders. Considering alternatives

You need to get a first and middle name that's tied into the GMTAN. Something like Bobby Tanner or Colin Damon or Aaron Rudnicki.

My wife has trouble with difficult tasks like reading a calendar. So I just made a 70 mile round trip to the dentist's office for no reason because Dylan's appointment is next Tuesday. I'm not happy.
35 miles away? Must be a hell of a dentist.
I started rehab yesterday at a place right by my house (for my knees and ankles not the kind the GMTAN needs) and I was a little late. I apologized to the therapist and told her why. It turns out she goes to the same dentist and lives about two blocks from my old house. Small world.

Guster exceeds everything I envisioned prior to meeting him. From the Cincinnati guidebook he wrote for us, to surreptitiously picking up lunch for me, Mrs Ignoramus AND my brother, to showing us around his playhouse... err... office.

Awesome, awesome guy.

Did you keep an eye on his fingers when your wife was around?

Huge fan of the very underrated Tri-Tip, but my god, the two small words pushed together will never cease to make me snicker.
Makes brisket look like Steak-Ums.
Sounds like somebody doesn't know how to properly cook a brisket.

If skills or time is in short supply, tri-tip wins, but in the right hands and at least six hours, brisket wins in a landslide
We're talking food here, Joe Bryant. Not doing taxes.
:lmao:

Pismo Beach is pretty much "Bakersfield West". What do you want to know?
That's not a really selling point I'm afraid.

But I hate beaches thick with posers and so crowed you can't walk around without kicking over someone's ice chest. I also like piers. I was thinking Santa Monica, but with Venice Beach and the proximity to LA, I'm afraid I would not like it sop much, so was trying to find somewhere I could get an affordable room (150 or less?) with a balcony view of the ocean and some decent bars in walking distance. Looks like pismo is more in the 225 range for the most part.

I expect a white trash contingent at any beach, but as long as the meth is kept to a minimum and no one steals my beer when I go for a swim, I'm cool.

I think I've figured out a way to keep Albert Oaks. I could carve out three or four vacant lots from the property and sell them. Realtor tells me they'd be worth 250K each. If I could raise 500K I could last here indefinitely and keep my folks in place as long as they stay alive. Anyone want a lot in Austin? I'd give GMTANNERs a big discount and provide a couple weeks a year free lodging at the Oaks until you could build your own pad.How cool would it be for us to have our own neighborhood?

The possibilities are mind-boggling.

What could I get for $5,000? I don't need much. Broom closet? Chicken coop? Heard it's vacant.

Manhattan beach is great. I stayed at the Shade hotel there a few years ago. Highly recommend. Although that is above your quoted price range it is worth it.

You could crash on the stoner poodles' couch.

Careful. Who knows where that thing's been.
Dude, that's my wife.
You married Guster's finger?

Looks like I am not going to San Diego and could make Beerhole provided I can find cheap airfare Fri-Sun. Any suggestions?

I appreciate the offer, but I'm a more of a teddybear type.
