Getting ready to head out with the girl to a 20's themed wedding vow renewal for one of her coworkers.

. Sounds awful. Renewal ceremonies are the height of look-at-me. I've been to three and all ended in divorce within a year. Have fun!

Ouch. We were going to do a renewal for our 10th, mostly because we wanted to have another huge party at Vintage Villas. Then the whole infertility thing happened and we had to pay the cost of a wedding for each kid. Sounds like it saved the marriage.

Also, do we want to try one more time to have a GMTAN Fantasy Football League? We can just have the draft in here. 14 teams, $25 entry, I'll clone it like another league I run, which is a bit more wide open and fun than your grandfather's fantasy football league. I should have some time this summer to organize/commish this.

Thoughts on doing just a draft and "best ball" and no transactions during the year? The draft sounds fun, but the thought of another league to manage doesn't.

Yesterday was really nice. The weather was gorgeous. I tried to count how many were there, but gave up after 120. So many folks, especially for 3-5 on a Friday afternoon. My aunt also went way further with the food than she had led me to believe.

My mother maintained really well, but that's no shock as she's always able to put on her best face. She rode with Mata & I to/from and we stayed at Mom's last night. All 3 of us were out like a light by 9:30. I suspect that, now that there are no more "chores" to do with dad (other than a few bits of paperwork #### still hanging), she'll probably crash sometime in the next few days. It's gonna be real now for her.

Hang in there UH. Tough time - but it does get better overall with time.

Thanks, my friend. I'm fine. There's no good side to that damned disease, but I guess I got eased into my father not being around anymore by it taking the "him" part of him a long time ago.

Frosty - I bought you $60 worth of beef sticks today. My wife has to fly to Minneapolis on Monday for a week. Instead of paying for shipping, I think she might be able to bring this with her. Not sure what night works best for you while she's there, but she's had just enough Bloody Mary to agree to this. Maybe you can buy her a glass of wine or even take Tre with you for support.
