My youngest(9) announced 2 mths ago that she wants to quit club soccer and dance competitively. I thought oh, that is 2k that i'll save. Uh no AND I have to sit through these things every few months? I can barely deal with her once a year recital that is 3+hrs of sitting while she performs for a whopping 10-13 minutes. I'm thinking books on tape for the ipod shuffle? What pisses me off is that she's a pretty good soccer player. We had her end of the year party for her team last night and when we told a few of the parents that we wouldn't be at tryouts they flipped out. FML.

I have no idea. She was a hot piece of ### in high school and college(gymnast). Dropped off the radar and popped up as Crosseyed and tried to convert me at a friends funeral a few years ago.

It never ceases to amaze me what people will pick up off of a curb. I can put almost anything in front of my house and it will be gone within 2 hours. For instance, this morning, Mr. YSR and I dug up a Sago Palm in our front yard and as he was dragging it up to the front curb, a guy stopped and not only offered to take that one... but offered to come over and dig up the other 4 in our yard himself.

I was going to be working on separating stuff out for a yard sale this week, but I swear, I'm tempted just to set everything out at the curb.

Absolutely. Don't read it straight through though, print each of the 590 pages and then randomly shuffle them before reading. It adds an awesome Pulp Fiction flavor. And by saying yes it's worth it, I'm assuming you've had lots of alcohol.

Yep. I'm not sure what the laws are in Oregon but in California it's legit. I'd check with your county clerk's office or whatever first.

Yeah, i don't see how to do it. My biggest issue isn't with the desktop/laptop...it's when I check facebook from my blackberry. For every 'real' status update, I'm getting 3-4 Farmville/Mafia War updates. I don't want those anymore. Have no idea how to get rid of them on my phone.

Yeah, i don't see how to do it. My biggest issue isn't with the desktop/laptop...it's when I check facebook from my blackberry. For every 'real' status update, I'm getting 3-4 Farmville/Mafia War updates. I don't want those anymore. Have no idea how to get rid of them on my phone.

If you block them as instructed while using your PC browser, that should also cover your blackberry. At least that's how it works with the iPhone.

If you block them as instructed while using your PC browser, that should also cover your blackberry. At least that's how it works with the iPhone.

From your PC Browser on your Newsfeed page, go to a mafia wars/farmville post. Move your cursor to it. On the right side of the post, you should see an 'X' appear. Click on the 'X'. A menu should appear giving you the options to: Hide this post, Hide all by 'xxxx', Hide all by 'mafia wars, farmville, etc'. If you click on the Hide all by "app type" you will no longer see any of the spammy posts from that application.
