I seriously don't know if I could go a day as a vegetarian.

I'll say this, the food industry has gotten pretty creative with their veggie offerings. They make a vegan "beef jerky" that's actually pretty good. Not as tough as the real thing, but it's tasty.Mrs. Sack also gets this chicken nugget things that are indistinguishable from the real thing and a hell of a lot healthier.

The only thing you have worry about is not getting all your protein from soy products. Soy promotes the production of estrogen. So if you're a dude, you could end up with mantits ala. Bob from Fight Club. No shtick.

Hippling is someone going back in time and not taking into account the subsequent posts.

I think they believe they've found a safe place, so they crawl in through the hole in the lid and eventually drown. My wife won't empty the basker because of this. They freak her out in a major way.One night Mrs. S and I were getting a little friendly by the pool. As the wavemaking was about to commence, I noticed something in the pool and was foolish enough to check it out before I got in.the pool, I meanIt was a scorpion, dead under 5 feet of water.And that was the end of that. No more pool time. No more wave making.

When I was a young kid, I want on a fishing / camping trip with my family and several others. I was playing in the dirt/sand by the campfire and felt a burning sensation on my knee. I stood up to look and there was a scorpion on the ground where my knee was. All I knew about scorpions was from some Walt Disney nature books we had, and it was my general understanding that if they stung you, you died.I freak out and run crying to the domino table where my parents are in a hot game of 42 with the Holders. Ed Holder was the local "Outdoors" writer for the hometown paper (Port Arthur News). He looks down at my injury, then pulls out of his mouth about half of his baseball sized chaw of Redman and puts it right on the scorpion sting. He tells me the tobacco juice will draw out the poison and sends me on my way.So I'm sitting of to the side with another mans tobacco drool drizzling down my leg. just wailing and crying and my dad finally comes over and is like wtf, you're embarrassing your mother. Does it really hurt that much. And i was sobbing and said no, it doesn't really hurt that bad, but I am going to die and no one even cares.

It's variable. Most will do what you ask of them. We'd have the petsitter come by 3 times a day. This would include both meal times and my dogs could make it that time in between without an issue (7am, 1pm, 7pm). They'd stay for 1/2 hour to an hour as well to play with them or just keep the company. In addition, they'd bring our mail in. Most petsitters will do other little things like water plants or other minor things like that.The last time I used a petsitter, it was $15/visit. The beauty of it is, if you have more than one dog, it's the same price for 2 dogs (like us) as it is for 1 dog because they are coming to your home. While you only have one, if that were to change, it's just another benefit. Your dog doesn't get stressed out being away from home. And you have someone checking in on your place while you're gone which is more peace of mind.

They will help you find one in your area. They also make sure they are licensed and bonded. Makes trusting them a lot easier. Otherwise, ask around and see if any of your friends have ever used a pet sitter and how they feel about them. It often ends up being old people that do it because they truly love animals and tend to be around during holidays. We had the nicest old couple that did it for us the last time. They loved our dogs and would end up staying even longer just to keep them more company even if it was just sitting on the couch with them and watching TV.

I know we don't know each other well, but my summer semester is done August 5th and I'd love a quiet place away from home to work on some fiction for a few weeks. I'd only charge gas money from Upstate NY and back and maybe a couple extra $$ for food. Plus I'd take care of the place, the pooch, etc. No worries about burglaries.

Show was unbelievable. One of the best concerts I have been too. Band sounded amazing, Bono hasn't lost his voice at all. Just totally amazing, crowd was way into it. A few pix were uploaded to facebook.
