BTW, Paul Rudd hosting SNL tonight with Paul McCartney as musical guest (repeat)Warning: SNL sucks
I looked him up and remember him from Clueless  but apparently haven't seen him in anything else for 16 years.
Role Models and I Love You Man are two of the better bromedies of recent vintage IMO. He was also good as the henpecked husband in Knocked Up.His tears also cure cancer.

I think I really want to move to the Bay area. Other than LHUCKS, where's the downside?
You'll probably miss the lake effect snow you've grown used to your whole life.On the other hand, you'll get a kick out of the weather when you're sunny and 75 while your buddy three neighborhoods over is 61 and foggy.Seriously, SF is the most beautiful city in the world. Awesome vistas, great food, kick ### culture and arts scene, hot wimmenz. It's the whole package.

Thanks for the grout advice/diagnosis SS and TRE and whoever brought it up to Shuke.

For those of you who are 39ish, add this to the lengthy list of things your older brother/friends/uncle never told you about. You know what I mean. Ear hair, soft stool, weak stream, fatigue, JFC is there any part of my body that isn't going to go to hell before I turn 50 next year.

Oh, and you ####s missed my birthday yesterday. Except for K4.

Which reminds me...we're doing OK...own a Manhattan co-op, I'm a 33%er, Mrs BL is an MD, kids in private school, summering on the East End. Easy comfortable life.

Mom - fixed income, small condo, likes the small town simple life. Not a whole lot of discretionary spending but she is content. Sends her youngest son a birthday card. With a $50 bill inside.

MOM! W.T.F.

Can everyone please remove levi's user name from their posts so this thread doesn't turn up in one of his vanity searches?

Thanks, Rose

Was just funning not complaining

Part-time GMTAN members don't actually expect people to remember that stuff

When does school start back up for everyone? NYC isn't until after Labor Day (my daughter's is 9/12), but my son's school starts 9/1.

Man this summer went by quick.

I had to report back on August 1. The students returned on the 3rd, 2 days later.

Students reported back on Monday (8/22) for us. Teachers had to be back the Tues before.

Not really. Football starts earlier on Sundays?
Yea, but if it's like LA, the bars open early and serve bloody mary breakfasts on game day.
Oh yeah, of course. I just meant for someone from the midwest or east coast it might be weird. The good news is that you can watch all of SNF/MNF and still get a decent night's sleep.

East coast people enjoy getting drunk at 10am on Sundays. We're not all snooty liberal pansies. We can be alcoholics too, you know.

Is it bad that like 80% of the "Muslims at a baseball game" story I posted in the 'January 21st 2013' thread is true? Awkward.
The weirdest part is that people go to minor league games.
It has its charm. Cheap. Every seat is a good seat. More family-oriented (no crazies). The only thing is you rarely know any of the players. Granted, I prefer Yankees Stadium, but that's a five hour drive away.

10 AM is the perfect time for football to start, IMO. Unless you go to church or sleep until noon.
Totally agree. I grew up on the east coast, then lived in LA for 3 years, then moved back east.10am football is one of the few things I miss.
I'm the opposite. Lived West Coast the whole way except three years on the East Coast. Sole advantage of being on the East Coast, sports-watching wise, is having west coast games late at night on weekends when out or playing cards or something.

I am a big fan of this show "Awkward." on MTV. Does that make me a 'mo?
No. At least that doesn't.

The old "let's try to hedge with Washington State vs Idaho" play is :moneybag: Then it turns into "Let's hedge even more with Hawaii vs whoever they're playing at home this weekend" play is even more :moneybag:

It's very expensive in SF. I've lived in just shy of a dozen cities and it's by far the most beautiful place I've lived. Nice weather and lots of options for whatever type of thing you enjoy. The east bay isn't bad but it's pretty similar to any other suburb. Happy belated birthday Bobby Lane.

I think that nuanced crowd thought it was dumb you were describing a Sihk couple but calling them muslim.Oh, and totally down for Cyclones game at Coney Island. Used to have season tickets when my son was a preschooler, and just took my 3 y.o. daughter to her first game. About the time they hit second grade its not cool anymore, but good to go for the first 7 years. And yes, it's entertaining. Who doesn't love minor league schtick? Giveaway promotions every night, inexpensive beers, stupid mascot races, Brighton beach Russian chicks with fake boobs, you're friggin' watching baseball on the beach. It's all good.

The other night was a whopper. The first pitch was thrown out by a classic "that guy" -- Mickey Jones, "who's been in over 80 feature films! Produced and made records! Yes!" He was in town to teach the budding thespians of Binghamton, New York how to get into the movies. All his trade secrets (i.e. grow a funny beard & play "Biker #2" over and over) at his three hour Holiday Inn seminar. Mickey Jones! The corrupt sheriff from Vacation! The occasional extra on a fake TV show (Tool Time) on a real TV show (Home Improvement). That guy with the beard! Mickey Jones, people! Mickey Jones!

:lmao: imdb trivia rocks

The musician-turned-actor was Bob Dylan's drummer during the historic and controversial 1966 tour, when Dylan brought his newly electrified sound to often-hostile folk fans.

Whoa!

I think Cam Newton is excellent value for leagues that don't penalize for INTs. He'll end up being a very good QB2 IMO with upside of a QB 1
