GM's thread about nothing (19 Viewers)

How far are we talking here? Under 180 or over 180? That's an important distinction. Also, big boobs? You can forgive a few extra lbs for big boobs. If yes to both of these, I see no issue. 1 out of 2, maybe. 0 for 2 and, yes, you need to quit drinking
Probably right around 180...she was kinda tall. Oh, and MASSIVE boobs.
Like 6'5" I hope.just kidding GB. my wang and I agree this is nothing to be ashamed of.

Christo would be proud. I'm all on board with some extra weight if it means massive boobies. Well done.

how chunky? surely there's a limit.

I've fallen on some chunky grenades for my friends. We're talking over 200.

My First World Problem Of The Day:

My wife informs me that our 7 YO son wants to play baseball. Of course my first reaction is overwhelming joy. These are the moments you daydream about as a father. The deadline to sign up is today. No problem, I will call and get it taken care of.

Then my doubt starts to creep in. This group is for ages 3-8. My son, who is thin, fast as lighting and I would say athletic as any kid his age, has not shown one moment of interest in baseball. He knows nothing about the game, does not understand any of the rules, has never held a bat in his hand. The few times I could get him to play catch, he was not very good, and loss interest quickly.

The shark move would be to not sign him up, get out there everyday playing catch, get him swinging a bat, teach him the game at his pace. But then he doesn't get in this season. Am I being paranoid about throwing my boy out there with kids where 90% of them are going to know 10 times more about the sport?

Well, at least we know your fall was cushioned.

If he asked, then sign him up. You don't have to control everything. Let his coach and teammates teach him (via osmosis, if anything) and you play tutor at home. Catch is fine, but there's nothing like a real game.

7-8 year olds mostly suck at baseball, even if they have played before. play catch with him during the season and he will improve leaps and bounds. you can tell the kids that don't touch a ball other than practice/game. if it's coach pitch you have nothing to worry about.

I coached a lot of baseball when my brother was younger. Very few kids understand most of the rules. Any good coach will work with them, teach them a lot, and let them have some fun. If he wants to play sign him up. Good luck to you both.

A lot of funny crap happened over the last 3 days but the best was on Saturday when we were golfing and my GB almost had the cart girl convinced to let us do body shots off her. Why? Because he told her the other cart girl (Brittany) let us do body shots off of her. You could almost see the "???" over her head as she mumbled "Brittany let you do that?" and looked around the course. :lmao: :lmao:

Awesome move. I gotta remember that.

We were on hole 22 and I'm not sure how I kept a straight face, you know, considering the amount of booze and magic cookies that were ingested up to that point. And yes, both of the cart girls were smoking hot.

Night was going smoothly, husband cooks dinner, I'm on my second glass of wine, etc. An hour ago, my cell phone rings with a local number. We have our house listed, so I'm going against normal protocols and answering any call that comes in.

Me: Hello?

Caller: Hi... my name is Heather, and I live across the canal from you.

Me: Hi, Heather!

Heather: Sweetie, your dock is floating away.

We race through the yard to the water and sure enough, thar she blows, about 20 yards from her resting place. While we didn't get much rain at our house, apparently the water levels are super high and the dock's iron loops rose above the pillars around which they normally rest.

Some quick thinking got us to get out our kayak and send Mr. YSR out in it to loop an electrical cord (couldn't find rope on such short notice) through the loops so we could rein her back in. We then spent the next 45 minutes affixing pieces of 2x4 to the tops of the pillars to make them taller.

Worth mentioning that I'm extremely sensitive to the no-see-ums in our backyard, especially down at the waterfront, and will be sure to have no fewer than 60 bites in the morning. I get 20 or so just while passing through that area quickly on the mower.

So, GMTAN, back to :banned: .
Sorry, doing some hippling today......What does no-see-ums mean?

Frosty> thanks for the package, GB. This is massive. Especially the book! Did you rob Best Buy?
I get a lot of stuff through work. And the book was sent to me for free because of my blog.
Is it good? It looks good.
It's decent. It ends up being too long and kind of jumps all over the place at times and some of the poeple I don't car about because I've never heard of them, but overall it's pretty good.I sent you the book and no book to Styker because he's from Wisconsin and I know most of them can't read.

Yeah don't bother telling the rest of us what book you guys are talking about.
Here's where I would have made a comment that would've gotten me some time off. I need to keep my GMTAN compendium thread udpated.
