God, whole lotta awful in here. Happy for the TU updates. The 125 heat index here right now reminds me of seeing Arcade Fire at Lollapalooza the first year that anyone knew of them...they were just hitting it big. Was that 2006? Whatever it was, it was a 120 heat index in Chicago and the MFers came out in their usual garb, three-piece suits, and jumped all over the stage for the whole set. People went absolutely nuts as it was not only great music, but it seemed like they were possibly going to die (I felt like I was and was wearing as little as possible)...they were so COMMITTED to it.
Loved them then; love them now. Would love to see them again now. Spoon is a bit meh to me since they play a gazillion times in Chicago every year. Of course, I don't live there now. :X
ETA: TU, I think it was the year before I met you during Lolla and gave you Cubs tix?

They at our house. Our bedroom shares a wall with the guest room. Neither of us are really interested in boning with them in such close proximity.
