Glad he's getting better. My son was born 7 weeks premature and we had some scary moments to get through. It sucks because you feel totally helpless, but stay positive and I'm sure he'll be fine. My son will turn 4 next month and he is a healthy burping and farting machine who is very intrigued by the female breast... what more could a Dad want?Good luck and I'll keep the little guy in my prayers.

I was listening to Jason Ellis on Sirius yesterday...and it was a "Best Of..." with Joe Rogan...Anyway, Rogan makes Ellis search youtube for "Chimps eating monkeys" and apparently the chimps surround the monkeys and eat them alive, tearing them limb from limb.I totally forgot to search this myself and I'm at work now...but can anybody else look this up and report back?They played the audio and their reaction while watching it sounded crazy...

The Goos were great back in the late 80s and early 90s when nobody outside of Buffalo had heard of them and they used to play shows with Lance Diamond. Then they scored a hit single with name, got tons of play on radio and MTV, and Johnny tried to turn himself into Jon Bon Jovi.

Robbie is still a cool dude, but they completely sold out from the rock band they started out as (see: Jed).

I'm a big fan of Thursday nights in general but might be spreading myself too thin this time. I have my son all weekend, so I'm trying to cram as much as possible into tonight. Yesterday I made plans with a girl I met a couple weeks ago. IIRC she was cool and pretty cute. Twenty-something (26 or 27?) blonde. Meeting for beers at 8. She has to be up early in the morning, so it should be fairly brief.Now today I start chatting with a new chick on that iPhone app. We might meet for a minute tonight since she lives in the area I'm headed to, but she has class in the morning. You guys will hate me (more) if this one works out. 5'1" blonde, 22, fit, and really cute. Apparently she likes guys who are much taller and older. I don't want to miss the window of opportunity with the second girl, so I need to figure out how to handle this. Might push the meeting time up to 7:00 for the first one. I already told the second I wouldn't be out until 10 or 10:30. But if the first girl invites me in I'll have a situation. One of those bird in the hand vs two in the bush things. (I'm sure those words could be rearranged somehow if this wasn't someone's daughter.)Also meeting a couple buddies later, so assuming both girls turn in early there will still be some entertainment.Oh and "Student" is planning to break up with her boyfriend tonight and may come by my place if the timing is right. No boners this time.Met the first one at Gingerman at 7:30. Told her I'd need to leave at 9 for a friend's birthday. She's cool, smart, and likes good music (Band of Horses, Dr Dog, Andrew Bird, etc). Unfortunately I don't think I'm that attracted to her. Here's a ridiculously small picture.

At 9 we said our goodbyes without the kiss she seemed to want, and I walked across the street to Idle Rich and date #2.

Second girl is there with her sister and a few other people. She is tiny. I think she might fit in my pocket.

5'1" might be generous. Luckily she's wearing 3 inch heels, which helped a little. And her weight was easily less than the temperature. Her voice is small too, so she's basically like a munchkin. Can we change the meaning of MILF?

Outrage over plans to build a library next to Sarah Palin

PLANS to build a state-of-the-art library next to Republican catastrophe Sarah Palin are causing outrage across mainstream America.

Campaigners have described the project as insensitive and a deliberate act of provocation by people with brains.

The issue is forming a dividing line in advance of November's mid-term congressional elections with candidates being forced to declare whether they have ever been to a library or spoken to someone who has books in their home.

Meanwhile President Obama has caused unease within his own Democratic party by endorsing the library and claiming that not everyone who reads books is responsible for calling Mrs Palin a ####wit nutjob nightmare of a human being.

But Bill McKay, a leading member of the right-wing Teapot movement, said: "Sarah Palin is a hallowed place for Americans who can't read.

"How is she going to feel knowing that every day there are people going inside a building to find things out for themselves and have thoughts, right in the very shadow of her amazing nipples."

He added: "Our founding fathers intended for every building in this country to be a church containing one book, written by Jesus, that would be read out in a strange voice by an orange man in a shiny suit who would also tell you who you were allowed to kill.
