AMC is going to run Breaking Bad from the beginning starting some time this week. It might be tonight. I missed like half the first season so I think I'll rewatch it all.
I just checked AMC's website. They're showing repeats of season 2 starting this week. You're such a tease.

It only took me a month to prove to the manufacturer that this code AR2 is on their website for gray and I received maroon.

On the plus side I now have some sweet free maroon tackboards.
Hey genius, you linked to AR1, which is gray. The AR2 is henna, which is maroonish.
Yeah, I forgot to add the screen shot.
Are you telling me that on your screen, AR2 is not called henna and not maroon-looking?
YesThey finally fixed it this morning. They should give me some kind of major prize.

Season 1 aired in December. On the TiVo, you want to go into Season Pass options. You can record "New episodes only", "New & Repeats", and "All (including duplicates)". To catch up on an old show, you want the second one... it'll record any episode it finds that you don't already have, once.

What is this show about? Can somebody sum it up for me? My TV viewing is really embarrassing. I watch the Bachelor with my wife, mom and sister and have resigned myself to the fact that I'm nothing more than a white wine sipping, closeted moho with no more pride. As if that's not bad enough, I also still watch Survivor. And I'm probably one of the only ones left in the world still holding onto The Office. Other than that, I don't really watch anything more than re-runs of Curb, Seinfeld, Entourage, etc. I like Bill Maher's show when it's on. We've been going through The Sopranos for the last few months, so that takes up a lot of our time (GB the library where you can get all the episodes for free).

Oh, I also like Celebrity Rehab, Millionaire Match-Maker and Rehab at the Hard Rock when they are on.

Also, Jeopardy, Judge Judy and Maury Povich if I happen to be home when they are on. :(

The Hold Steady stink. I'm sorry, I love my hyper-literate wordy rock n' roll as much as the next guy, but Finn's voice is brutal.
thank you.
They have a couple of listenable songs but that's about it. I really don't get the love.
Tufnel was right about you.
I think I only know one song by them and I wasn't really dazzled enough to seek out anymore. Can't recall the name of it, but I think Scorhy or Zilla sent it to me.

What was the uranium etf you guys like again?
There isn't an ETF yet for Uranium. We've been buying miners. There is a closed end fund called Uranium Participation Corp, but I don't own it and wouldn't recommend it at present time.

Honestly, I don't think any one song is going to dazzle anyone who isn't already a fan. They need more time to work their way in and get properly lodged in your cranium.

There is a 5 page thread titled "THIS SUMMER! grant us all the power to drink on top of water towers".Am I the only one (other than GM I am sure) that doesn't have a clue what this means?
No idea.
You're like the worst music snob ever.
 ;) :lmao: Truth is you could quote a song lyric from a song I do like and should know and I probably wouldn't pick up on it. I'm pretty dense and not very perceptive.

High school Chemistry teacher with a pregnant wife and a handicapped teenage son finds out he has cancer. He decides to use his skills in chemistry to secure his family's financial future...illegally. Very, very good show.

I think that this phrase contains a poetic truth that is more penetrating the what the literal words describe. I like it.If I find out that it is a line from a Blues Traveler song or something, I'll puke all down the front of my shirt.
I'm hearing Bob Mould here. Big time.

I'm sold. Also, how many more times can networks, movie promos, radio stations and middle-age women at parties play the song "F You and F her too" before it's been overdone and played to death?

Just to be clear, the bolded words are the TV shows and the non-bolded words are not TV shows?

I guess so...it is set in ABQ.

I made this same point in the Best Songs of 2010 thread, and was astounded to find that the majority of the FFA people reading the thread had never even heard the song.Note for my fellow fans of the wordy white nerd rock- The Dismemberment Plan are getting back together for 10 or so shows over the next several weeks.
