5 pin? Thats all we have here. I think one of the alleys had 10 pin on a couple of lanes.they still have that mini bowling in New England? That's probably good for kids. bumper bowling is an abomination.

Oh. Do they make these for adults?flaccidityWhat is the appropriate amount of time to wait before dismounting?I'll admit I've never been to the gym other than to sign my kid up but....dismount? What kind of gym is this?I hurt the back of my thigh dismounting one of the machines at the gym today.
We use the same pins but there's only 5, well spaced...and the smaller balls. No fingerholes. So my 6th grade son won his school's spelling bee. So I took him last night for the preliminary Duval County spelling bee written test with over a hundred other school winners. I had prepared him that only 15% move on and since there would be plenty of 7th and 8th graders, his chances weren't good. Test was a hundred multiple choice questions where you have to pick the misspelled word. He said that for the last 50 questions, he barely recognized any of the words. Based on his initial negative reaction, I was shocked tonight to find out he's one of 21 moving on to the oral spelling bee in two weeks.

5 pins or 10? 5 pin has normal size lanes, just smaller balls. I like that they fit in my hand. Fingerholes sound unnatural.I never played minibowling. I just remember throwing the little ball down a normal sized lane. I thought the pins were the same size as normal bowling too.![]()
I was a kid when I played on a trip to Connecticut. I thought the ball was small but everything else was pretty much the same so 10-pins I think, but it might have only had 5.either way, don't ever see any of those smaller ball options around Chicago or Buffalo.5 pins or 10? 5 pin has normal size lanes, just smaller balls. I hope it's a leg-lampBuying a house at a steal and should be closing Tuesday. House has been on the market for over a year and the old owners still havnt got all their stuff out.
Stuff Ive seen so far
Oak table with 6 chairs
matching china? cabinet thing with booze in it
nice corner style computer desk
about 12 packed and taped boxes
cases of expensive foozy or something (acai berry?) stuff
excersize ball
golf clubs
boxes in garage
and
a HUGE 6-8 foot long 3 feet wide, 3 foot high wooden crate in the garage. I call it the mummy casket.
I'm dying to know whats in there. you could easily kill and shove 8 grown ups in this thing.
Final walkthrough tomorrow and i will snap some pics. Where/how to host them? Contest to guess whats in there?
I had to fly out of there once. They had computer problems and canceled all flights, forcing me to spend the night on a Friday when I was traveling solo for work. Then, the next morning when I was supposed to take a 6:00am flight home, they still hadn't fixed the computer issues, so I ended up taking a $110 cab ride to fly out of LaGuardia at 4pm.So I'm saying you're screwed.I'm supposed to fly out of the Westchester County Airport in White Plains NY in 4 hours. They are currently closed due to a bomb threat. I'm pretty ####### thrilled with this development.
Candlepin is the New England style of bowling. There are ten pins but they are skinnier than regular ones. The balls are about the size of a grapefruit. You get 3 balls per frame instead of 2. The machine doesn't clear in between balls, so you can use "dead wood" to your advantage. I play most Thursdays. It roools.ETA: like thisI was a kid when I played on a trip to Connecticut. I thought the ball was small but everything else was pretty much the same so 10-pins I think, but it might have only had 5.either way, don't ever see any of those smaller ball options around Chicago or Buffalo.5 pins or 10? 5 pin has normal size lanes, just smaller balls. Translation: PaneraF'n STL locals.Should have stopped at St. Louis Soup instead.I just got back from the office and I'm at home feeling like hell, still after 3 days. I thought it would be smart to stop at St. Louis Bread and get some chicken noodle soup which I did. I just opened the lid and the ganked me again with mostly broth. I wasn't about to drive back up there so I called and they are sending me a gift card in the mail.
FWIW

wtf? 1000+ Panera locations in one city?In its headquarters city of St. Louis, Panera Bread still operates under the name St. Louis Bread Company. The St. Louis metropolitan area has over 1,000 locations.
wikipedia looks wrongThe company operates or franchises 1,362 Panera Bread bakery-cafés in 40 states

Yep. Back at the old company a gal I worked with got their account when they were a 4-5 location place. I think her husband used to beat her or she was a drunk or something. Needless to say it affected her work. She could have retired by now. Sad.Wait...St. Louis Bread = Panera Bread?

I doubt it.Everything at Panera Bread has at least 1000 calories, right?
In a 2008 Health magazine study, Panera Bread was judged North America's most healthy fast casual restaurant. In 2009, the restaurant review service Zagat named Panera one of the most popular restaurants for eating on the go.[15] Panera was also rated #1 for Best Healthy Option,[16] Best Salad,[15] and Best Facilities, among restaurants with fewer than 5,000 locations
