Fox opened the telecast with Shipping up To Boston by the Dropkick Murphys

I didn't know that could be played on non Patriot broadcasts

Ahh, probably true. I didn't think about that. People think it's a bad for a hunter to make a bad shot on a deer, thus making it run a lot before it dies. I didn't think about that.Every deer I've ever shot has been DRT, so I can't tell you if it's true or not.Zach Brown Band has been about the only country music I've been able to stomach in a long time although I can't say I've heard too much of their music. Their drummer is from Birmingham and I've heard him talk about the musical influences within the band on local, sports centered radio no less. I can't remember them all because I usually don't care about any of that, but I was surprised to hear him talk more about the one member who is a huge Rage Against the Machine fan. :towelwave: I do remember this though: Zach Brown owned a restaurant and started playing one night a week with friends. Before long, the night he played was the biggest night of the week at his place. Then he started playing more and now they're pretty big. I'm doing a poor job of explaining it, but I thought it was a cool story considering we live in a time where bad music gets blasted on the Top 40 from worthless individuals who won a contest, this band coming together because some guy just wanted to play music one night a week at his establishment. I couldn't name a song they play, but they seem decent enough for what they do... well, I can't name a song, but I remember the lines "chicken fried... cold beer on a Friday night" from one of the songs.Anyway, I thought that comment was odd considering they didn't butcher the national anthem.DRT = dead right there, by the way

While it's unlikely that this exact sequence of events will happen to any of you, I feel it's my duty to share this hypothetical advice, in case there's any chance of avoiding the seemingly inevitable. If any of you happen to have a pregnant wife who has been nagging you for months to get a flu shot, and she gets her flu shot early on, and she happens to work with a bunch of people who are sick and come in to work anyways, and you haven't been in contact with anyone with the flu and are not yet feeling the effects, and she happens to be sneezing and coughing, do not start any sentence with the words, "It's kind of ironic that...".

 Good luck. Thoughts and prayers to you as you deal with the terrifying lunacy of a pregnant wife.

Thanks guys. She has a disease called Gastropaersis, and she was in excruciating pain when she called, crying. We got ahold of one of her friends and he drove her to the ER.She just called and they gave her Lidocaine to drink and Vicodin. She's in lala land laying in the ER right now. It's such a helpless feeling. Thanks again.
Update?

Why are both of you not on my Facebooks?
That can't be the right verbiage, can it? Kinda sounds like something my Mother would say and keep in mind she refers to her cell phone as her "cordless phone" and she believes she can only access her email (a hotmail account) on her home computer.btw... I'm not on your facebooks either :lmao:

Nah, sort of a bad play on way earlier in the thread when Mrs. BSR talked about having "a Facebook". :notebook:Send me a PM link. :)

Which time period is the most awesome? The time after sex when you realize it's alright to go to sleep or the time right after church when you were a kid, realizing you are at the farthest point from more church?

Neuske's Smoked Liver Sausage  Big fan.

Made up a spread with this, cream cheese, and onion soup mix. Our dogs went NUTS the instant I cut thru the wrapper, and didn't leave the kitchen until it was in the fridge. Never seen them go that crazy over people food.
I'm not a fan of liver or liver sausage but Nueske's is in the super elite upper platinum tier.
this joint is about 1hr from here. their main retail hub is a gas station. it's xanadu.
You lucky SOB.

My son's a stud. Right after this was taken he tells me: "I goosed her on the bum". It's like having my own little Disco Stu.
The little dude behind him dressed in prison orange. Very suspicious seems like is looking around for guards and may be concealing something in his hand. I'm guessing your son may be getting a little to close to one of his girls.
:lmao:  ;) Looks like he's about to shiv somebody.Cute kid Gadzooks.

Hurtin' a bit today. Watched Maryland blow a late 12 point lead against Nova when group senility set into the entire Guard corps. But that was only the appetizer, as immediately afterwards the Ravens gacked up against the Yinzers. Mucho alcoholo was involved and I'd put the proof of my blood right now up against any moonshine anywhere.

She just told me she was feeling hot, and started walking towards me. I backed away and said I'm not feeling your head. We just bought a thermometer. She said, I know, but it's not working. It doesn't say I'm as hot as I feel. :bag:

This isn't a rhetorical question people.

I think it's the church thing. The time BEFORE sex may be better than both, though.

Post-sex.But I always felt miserable (when I went, as a youth) after church. Don't ban me!

Packer game and then a party. Shots seemed like a good idea at the time. Not so much now.

Hair of the dog happening in about an hour. T&P.

My brother & I shot a fifth of Sambuca along with 8 trillion beers. I did get a decent amount of sleep, though, so it's not as hurtful as it could be. I have a feeling that I won't see 8 p.m. though.

I think I slept from 5:30 to 9:30. Thank god we decided fairly early that a shot after every Packer score was probably excessive.I should have taken a picture of the beer stockpile at the party. It was impressive. Beer pong is still fun.

At some point my crotch had a name tag reading "Heavy D and the Boyz".

;) Good Lord, I can't do the 5:30 to 9:30 thing anymore. Once a year, a bunch of us that grew up together (& are scattered to the four corners of the USA now) have a poker night. It kills just about all of us, but we feel like supermen for a few hours. I'm out of whack for several days afterwards.

The entire state of Wisconsin is hungover, methinks.

I am not moving from my couch today, except to pee. And even then, my brain is going to have to figure out a way to convince my body that it's ok to move.

One time in high school I had sex right after church (the Lord's name was yelled several times that Sunday) and then I took I took a nap. I'm pretty sure that was the most awesome time period of my life. I imagine that's how every day in heaven will be. Can't wait!!!!

She got out a couple hours later. As of last night she's still in pain, but it's better. It could take a week or so for her to feel better.Gastropersis is a disease where she doesn't digest certain foods. Something she ate is still sitting in her gut undigested, but is slowly digesting, and it causes major pain.Nothing she can do about it, but be careful. The medication is super expensive and we can't get it in the States so we have to get it from Canada or Europe. Thanks for your concern.

Question: I've slept about 7 hours in the last 3 days, and I'm laying in bed in Thailand watching the Seahawks not show up. It turns out they still give free drinks on international flights, and I'm exhausted.

At what point in time is it acceptable for me to go to bed?

 Can't even think what next Sunday is going to be like. And should the Packers win, not much will be happening at work anywhere in WI on Monday.

are there any online super bowl squares pool things going on? Would like to get in a $25/square or so pool, but the one at my super bowl party will likely only be $5 max
