The 8 Most Ridiculously Badace Protesters Ever Photographed

Although listed as #8 Shield Maiden is still my fav.

This picture was taken at the Amona outpost, West Bank, when armed-to-the-teeth riot police raided the unarmed shanty-town to evict the settlers. There are about twenty cops on the other side of that shield, all of them rushing downhill at full-tilt toward one elderly Jewish woman who looks like she just dropped a casserole dish mid-wash when she realized she was late to the mid-afternoon riot.

She.

Is.

Holding.

She looks like she'd be denied a part in a LifeAlert commercial on the grounds of frailty, and here she is Gandalfing the holy { } out of two dozen riot cops.

Two things had to have happened after this photo: One, every single one of those cops turned around, went home, called their mothers and apologized for every cross word they'd ever said. And two: One very old Jewish lady picked herself up, dusted off her apron, walked calmly back to her home, closed the door, took a deep breath, hurled the stove through the wall to vent the excess energy, and then quietly finished scrubbing up.

Have a T-shirt made with a picture of Prince Fielder in a yellow shirt, with the planets revolving around him, and "Prince and the Revolution" on the back. Honestly, I have no idea where that came from. I'm sorry.

You ever notice how when you're driving down the road and you see another liscence plate with the same 3 starting letters as yours and you want to catch up to them and say "hi! I was at the DMV the same day as you!". You know?

I have a theory...the older you get, you should move further west.Think about it....start out in the Atlantic where you want to watch sports late at night after the bar or while you are studying. As you move into adulthood, you want it in the middle. not too late, not too early. Everything is finished by midnight so you can get a good night sleep.When you're 40+, move to PST where you've already been awake for 2-3 hours when football kicks off at 10am. ...and when it's 11pm and you are ready for bed, everything has been wrapped up.Get old, move west. That is my theory.

when I'm in Vegas, it's usually pretty easy to sleep through the early NFL games. Pacific time is good for some things, but not for NFL.I have grown to prefer CST over EST though. That extra hour helps a lot.

That's Vegas, though. That's not real life. I've done things in Vegas that should have killed me and inspired a new chapter in the Mormon Bible. Live here for 6 months and tell me you routinely struggle to make it out of bed at 10am. Plus, you can bet online BEFORE you hit the sack. Wake up, oops, football.

I don't know. Bars here close at 5am on Saturdays. When I used to be go out a lot more, it was pretty tough to wake up by noon on a Sunday. If games started at 10am, there was no way I'd be seeing the first half of games, changing fantasy lineups, or making any bets on time.With the 10am start time, I'd be tempted to pull all nighters far too often and then wind up crashing and sleeping through 75% of the action later on.

Yeah, the 5am thing I can see, but how long can a man do that? I mean, you're married now. You can't possibly do the 5am thing very often. And despite the time zone differential, you still have to go to work at 7-9am like I do, right? Isn't it better to have MNF end at 9pm than 1am? That way, you can go to bed at a decent hour and make it to work refreshed. Same applies for SNF. Once you have kids, you'll want NFL games to start ASAP and not wait around until 1pm. Trust me, PST is the teets.
