Thanks everybody! Yeah, I'm nuts for sure. But I'm pretty excited about this. My wife is an incredible lady and she is absolutely wonderful to my boys. She's going to be an amazing mother and I'm really happy to be a part of this with her.

I just walked outside to check on the ribs we have smoking and encountered the most menacing looking raccoon I've ever seen (admittedly, my experience is a bit limited). I guess I've never really paid attention to one, but it was like this guy actually had this really strong and stocky upper body. I half expected him to rise up on two legs and box me with his strong little arms.

Also, it's still almost completely light out. Really thought that they were nighttime buggers.

Congrats good buddy! I know GM wife v2.0 will make a great mom! Turns out chat is causing massive over-population lately... charvspawn 2 is due in October.you stopped by, and here we are, TF frequented when the twins came about, and well, we already know about hulk baby, who I suspect will start terrorizing MSP shortly...and who knows, there might be more... :unsure:

Do you owe? If so, you have penalties and you can easily file an extension. You will get hit with interest, but no penalty. If the government owes you, all you lose by filing late is the interest you would have earned between now and then. You have up to 3 years to file for a refund.

I don't know. If I could make myself figure out if I owe them or they owe me, I'd probably be able to make myself do my return.

My wife and i looked at the calendar this weekend and tried to get a date picked out for my vasectomy...so Im equally as happy as you are. :P

 
Decided yesterday I'm actively saving to get a new car on my 30th birthday. Is this an early mid-life crisis, or the result of driving the same Toyota Camry since I was 16?

Need to save about 1,700 a month to get there, even with the savings I have now. I have a hard time not paying cash.

You are planning to pay cash for the WHOLE thing? Why? You can get a good interest rate on cars now. You can get something like 2.9% for 60 months. I've even seen 0.9% and 1.9%.If it was me, I'd feel more comfortable having that chuck of money in savings and just making a small car payment every month.

Good point. My credit should be fine (albeit - I haven't checked in a while). I just have a personal bias against going in debt for something that depreciates in value like that - even though I understand the opportunity cost.

Damn, I was close!As to why, I dunno. I'm about the same age as you, and I have been looking at an M3 to get my past my inevitable mid-life crisis. It's just a sweet car, I love it. It is about 10-15k more expensive than what you are looking at, which is probably the determining factor between my daydreams and you actually buying one of these cars.Either way, 335i coupe is a damn nice ride.
 
I'd stay very far away from beemers. I'd heard plenty of horror stories with them. My boss has a 2011 5 series one that just went into the shop for a blown transmission gasket. He's going to be out of a car for a few weeks now.

Besides, some would say that the 3 series is a chick car. Just saying....that's what some would say... :mellow:
