Disc Golf Fantasy Camp. On the final day you get to throw a round with Ken Climo, David Feldberg, and Barry Schultz. Every camper gets a t-shirt and commemorative one-hitter.

Fantasy Football Camp. You learn Value-Based Drafting during the day, and make Smores and knit draft boards at night.

"Scary story time, campers! Our Camp Director, Joe, will start with the Terrifying Tale of Charles Rogers."

True story here. One of the years we were up at $cupper's cabin, Mrs. TF went to a party with all of our friends that we normally socialize with. She was consistently asked by everyone where I was. Her response was (paraphrasing) "In Minnesota at some camp having a fantasy draft with his internet friends"....over the night and multiple drinks it morphed into that I was attending "Fantasy Football Camp". Couple that with the few times I entered WCOFF with :11: guys, and that story has stuck forever. Now at every FF draft, whenever someone is pondering what to do - "Hey TF, what do they teach you to do in this situation at fantasy camp"; or if I make a sleeper pick - "Must've been in the fantasy camp newsletter, eh?"It will never end:lmao:

Another one - "Was Matthew Berry a guest speaker?"

You know what the biggest injustice in the country today is? How companies market "steak" sandwiches that are actually roast beef sandwiches. :hot:
And yet, I'll take the roast beef "steak" sandwich over those disgusting processed frozen slices some vendors make "steak" sandwiches with.
Two Wongs don't make a White.
I don't think you need to go away to camp to learn basic math, unless you're learning how many ounces are in a case of beer.
####, it wouldn't be my choice either at his age but he doesn't care about sports. He just really likes learning. Which reminds me, I gotta go.
does he like art?
Somewhat but nothing like my youngest son. He is constantly drawing/coloring and loves sports.

Well, that was a long freaking meeting. As far as the Asperger's diagnosis, he falls somewhere in the the "possibly" to the "likely" category. However they stressed that was from an educational POV not a medical POV. The good news is that they told us they have never seen test results like Cal's from another kid with ADHD much less with severe ADHD. His biggest problem in addition to the ADHD is his lack of ability to recognize non-verbal social ques to which he scored on the low end of average. His cumulative IQ came in at 114 which is "high average" however if you removed the non-verbal social ques score, it goes up to 123 putting him in the "superior" range. He was tested separately by three different people and they all described him as gifted and extremely intelligent many times which makes a father feel good. The best news is that we are done with all of this testing and he qualifies to get help which he will one way or another next year.
