Scupper is a good example. He used to post a lot and has disappeared. I guess it's not unheard of, just rare.
blue onion has over 18,000 posts--more than fullback fro--and he was gone for like 2 years. he must have posted a lot in the baseball forum or something.I don't remember Blue Onion being all that prolific. Are you sure the other ones don't post under different names? I know Zippy was using a variety of aliases for a long time, and he was posting at some of the side boards.Mr. DinglesZippyKen MaxwellBlue Onion

When I started posting here, I was an unmarried law student. Now I've got a 7 year old girl, a pending divorce of a marriage that lasted 10+ years, and I'm contemplating retiring from law. Definitely weird that this place is the one constant. So given the lack of attrition, it seems likely that many of us will still be posting here (or a substitute for this place if it ever closes shop) when we're old. That seems strange to me. Like a whole board full of Sea Bass.
Happy Schnapps been mentioned yet? The_Pod? Stompin Tom Connors? How many really prolific posters have ever actually left the FFA (and related boards)? I'm looking at the list of the top 60 and I think shiny is the only one that doesn't still actively post. Smoo doesn't really post here any more, but he's still around. Maybe Ferris has done it, but I'm not sure (he's not on the top 60 list but I think he would be). It's a tough habit to break. Good luck to shuke.
this guy went shark pool only, I think. was amazed when I saw him over there at some point recently.Stompin Tom Connors?
Forgot about Cracker. He was an interesting dude, IIRC. KidC?Anybody remember the dude who went by Red, White & Drew and also Band of Bradys'? He turned me on to Uncle Tupelo and then Wilco. Nice guy. Wonder where he went.Pigskin P and cracKer are gone.
He was in LABS for a while and was fairly active...not as much as Fatguy, but more than Shuke and Mr. Pickles.I haven't seen him over there in a long long time.this guy went shark pool only, I think. was amazed when I saw him over there at some point recently.Stompin Tom Connors?
Is it? My tolerance and patience for Fin stuff is very thin. The Mystery at My House thread is all kinds of awesome.
just the last two pages. whoever slayer 666 is, he's got great entertainment value. fin sent him off the deep end.Is it? My tolerance and patience for Fin stuff is very thin. The Mystery at My House thread is all kinds of awesome.
Blows my mind that anyone would do that.this guy went shark pool only, I think. was amazed when I saw him over there at some point recently.Stompin Tom Connors?
I wonder if there's anyone that posts exclusively in the ACF.Blows my mind that anyone would do that.this guy went shark pool only, I think. was amazed when I saw him over there at some point recently.Stompin Tom Connors?
Fair point here.Shuke'll be back.GM showing off his notebook here. Some good ones.ETA: But none of them posted nearly as much or for as many years as shuke. I think it's easier for some to walk away than others.
I remember when Sabeeh's Warrior (sp) was the first perma ban, he probably is still around but I have no notebook and I am terrible with aliases.I remember Mr. Dingles.
I am going to die still posting on this board, didn't I Fedex you the 9/11 DVD documentary disks ten years ago? Holy ####, that was 10 YEARS AGO.$19.10![]()
Yes, and I still have 'em. Great documentary.I am going to die still posting on this board, didn't I Fedex you the 9/11 DVD documentary disks ten years ago? Holy ####, that was 10 YEARS AGO.$19.10![]()
I didn't even know you were rover, you good peeps, stick around. If it wasn't for this thread, I would have probably have left the boards for good when I quit posting as the rover--that was actually my intention at the time. This is a necessary refuge when timscrotch, jim11/levi, etc are spamming the first page. 80% of my posts are probably in here now.
So I'm the last one? Do I win a prize or something?I just got a script for Xanax called in. Slap it high?

Yeah, WTF is up with that?I love this time of year. Hot, muggy, and everyone posts those beautiful pictures of their car's thermometers on Facebook.

I haven't check it in a couple of days & noticed this phenomenon this morning.Speaking of FB, here's the comment I just posted and deleted on GM's post last night.I can never tell where the line is.Looks like you finally found a group where you'll have one of the biggest penises.

Am I the only one who doesn't use a notebook?

i thought he came back as someone elseXnought left.
