So is everyone in the photo caption contest that uses a word beginning with p to describe kittens going to get a timeout too? The whole thing is just a trap. Joe has a weird sense of humor.
You've always been able to post things in those threads that you couldn't get away with posting in average threads. It completely makes sense if you don't think about it.
Those Shark Pool guys are hardcore. I don't anticipate bigbottom collaborating with this one anytime soon.Edit: He's on a roll.
:lmao: I'm just going to start posting real, non-humorous, captions in these.
I did that in the first 5 this afternoon before I got bored. Seemed kind of Norm MacDonaldesque.

Hooray!!My future Home Depot employees just beat your future Home Depot employees.
Drove past HD this afternoon. I had never seen a hot dog vendor there. Today there was one. Not by the door however, but on the street, next to the drive in entrance. Is this normal protocol?

I think I'm going to try to find a Home Depot tomorrow for lunch. Or maybe a Cub, they usually have one too. I've been severely brat deprived this summer. Or I suppose I could just buy some and cook 'em myself. But that would require a Cub. I guess whoever is closer wins. And to answer your inevitable questions, if you're in the midwest Cub is like Dominick's, if you're in the Southeast Cub is like Publix, and if you're in the Northeast it's like Giant Eagle or whatever it's called. It's a grocery store. This isn't like Duck duck goose or the pronunciation of Oregon or kittenball.

We used to have a Cub Foods. Same thing?

yeah that's what I'm talking about

We got like $350 in Target gift cards. Should we go for a PS3, a Wii, a desk for our spare office or some other crap I don't want?
Target sells booze.Skip the Wii. It's dying I think.
Target by me doesn't sell booze :kicksrock:I don't want the Wii..the wife does. Apparently the Wii Fit would be "so awesome for workouts" and bowling/jarts/water balloons or whatever is "so much fun"
I have no idea what the PS or Xbox offers in terms of workout stuff but the EA Active for the Wii is actually a pretty decent program for fat/calorie burning and aerobics.

Hope you're as stoked about tonight's games kicking off the pre season as I am. I don't think I've ever been this excited to see Charlie Whitehurst square off against Billy Volek. But that's August. And it's friggin' awesome.

I imagine any "workout video game" will be used a total of 2.3 times.

At the HDs and Lowes here, they are all exclusively parked right outside the exits. It is a genius move on their part.

Then I would buy a Dyson vac.

It sounds like we're going with the desk :sigh:

Our Wii is almost exclusively used only for Netflix now. My son will play some Mario and Donkey Kong, but none of the motion games are played on it.We got the Kinect for the Xbox thinking the same thing everyone else does about using it to exercise. Played the Kinect Adventures about a half dozen times, and now it collects dust.I have seen Wiis advertised for 90 bucks at local pawn shops in the area.

Is every thing I view on the intermet going to prompt me to link it to my twitter or facebook account? Even if I don't have one, but probably do but I don't ever use it and assume I do not remember my logon even its if the same everywhere?

When are they going to come up with facebook and twitter prompt blockers? they are destroying my internet experience.

Yeah we use ours for Netflix and Black Ops :bag:

Decided to enter the caption contest. Didn't look at the pictures. Didn't make up any captions, either, just pulled a dozen recent headlines off of the Drudge Report. Hopefully by chance one will make sense.Oh, and I also did the same thing for the 2010 contest threads, pulling random, year-old headlines from the Drudge Report for that one, too. Looking for the 2009 contest threads now.
:lmao: Can't wait to read them.
Looters as young as 9 years old run wild on UK streets...
:lmao: Only problem is reading through all the responses tyring to find these. Excrutiating. Even funny people like Pickles and Nipsey just posting horrible stuff.
Should have been there before Aaron deleted my 2008 contest entries regarding the Beijing Olympics and the Obama/McCain-themed condoms.

I met rigehtti and oc zed in RL last night, cool guys for sure. Rigehtti kept his shirt on, but then, his song never came on  But, He did have his shirt open and I did get a wee touch of chest hair
Did Righetti take you to a strip club?
It was brought up, a scar was displayed, but his work schedule trumped all.

:excited: By the way, anyone else get annoyed with how serious Guinness takes itself? Look at this guy in a suit at a state fair.
FWIW, its's almost 100% total schtick (the actual certification they take seriously). A buddy of mine was one of the certifiers and they basically play it howoever the person going for the records wants (and then if they don't like the person will mess with the person/org going for the record. He was actually on Rod Drydek's Fun Factory show onetime certifying a bunch of records and plays along with Drydek the entire time.

Solid. Most of the entries drain my life force. And yet, I can't look away.

In honor of dirty dead Nigel Tufnel, I'm going to try a different Waiting For Guffman quote for each one. Some may actually make sense.

had to pick up some toiletries at the local grocery a week or so ago.. took the almost 3-year old with me. she decided that she was going to do the shopping for me.

she picked me up a new shaving cream and shampoo.

the shampoo is some sorta papaya and mango infused concoction.

used it for the first time today and i must say my hair looks fantastic. and it smells great too.

Oh, and GM... Do you remember the name of the winery I'm supposed to go to? I've got no clue.
