#### - already texted the ex girl.
Only chorebuddy can save you now.
oolCan I get an alias check on RC?
I believe he's a regular...no alias. My notebook says that he is most known for giving diet/weight loss advice in the FFA after losing a ton of weight. Seems like a good guy.
X.divorced depressed guy. Lost 130 pounds. Started running. Started going out with a bunch of wimmen.Lost the password and the email password for my John Bender account (other than the cookies saved on my iPhone) and had to create RC as an homage to Finless. It was a name in one of his previous signatures.

Anything you need man, feel free to send me a message. I wouldn't have gotten to where I'm at without some timely advice from GM, Saints Man, and proninja (believe it or not). I'm happy to pay it forward to anyone who is down in a hole like I was or just want some direction.

Currently: Providence, RI (had to move out of Boston because some roided out Jesus freak at the gym slapped me for listening to White Zombie during my workout because he thought it was devil music)
was there a build-up or just a one-off slapping?
:lmao: Moved but was unrelated to the gym slapping.
was this guy significantly larger than you? did you take the high road and not stab him in his ####?

Story is over at :e: mang. Jesus freak slapped me in the locker room of the gym. Known roid rager. For no other reason than listening to White Zombie because it was "devil worship music" He's twice my size - which is why I aligned myself with RN who is twice HIS size.

part of me wishes there was a bar close enough to walk to. part of me is really glad there's not.
I just tried to count how many bars or restaurants with bars I could walk to from my house. All are less than 3/4 of a mile.Faux Australian steak house: packed all the time and everything tastes like a blossoming onionSemi-fancy Mediterranean place: Bar is too small and if it isn't happy hour it's overpriced.Fancy-pants 4-star place: 90% sure they have a bar but I've never heard of anyone just going there for drinks. I think I'd have to put on long pants to go there.Mexican place #1: Pretty cool place to drink. The waitresses still wear skirts and peasant blouses.Mexican place #2: Not too bad but they only show soccer on TV in Spanish.Japanese sit at the grill place: I'm with Roger Sterling on this one.Hookah/shawerma/falafel place: I seriously think this place is some sort of front. Not terrorism but some sort of Lebonese mafia.Old school dark as hell bar: The kind of place you can sit alone at the bar at and not feel out of place. But then around 10:30 packed with a younger crowd that acts like they invented Naugahyde, smoked-mirrored walls, and darts.

Did I just make it weird in here with the whole profile I posted?

I just made it weird didn't I? Sorry folks.

Speaking of weird - check out this conversation with an amazon rep. I don't WANT a full refund---just the difference between 1 day and 2 day shipping since it didn't come today:

Me:I upgraded to 1 day shipping for this item. It is 6 PM an has not arrived and would appreciated being refunded the difference between 1 day and 2 day shipping since this will not arrive until tomorrow obviously.

Queen:Hi reggiecsilks59, my name is Queen, I'll be happy to assist you today.

Me:I'm not asking for a full refund on the shipping cost

Queen:I'm really sorry for the delay of your package. Let me see what's going on.

Me:just the difference between 2 day an 1 day since it didnt arrive today

Queen:Can you please provide me with the order id?

Me:Sure can

Order #101492

Queen:Thanks. one moment please.

I see, the item is still out for delivery. Did you try to call UPS for the delivery updates though?

Me:They could not provide me with an update other than "I'm sorry that was already sent for delivery"

it's well after normal business hours on the East Coast

?

Queen:I see, that's what I'm also thinking I will be calling they, relay on the delivery hours and will be informed after delivery hours, if they were able to deliver the package. Here's what I am going to do, I will check on your order tomorrow and see if it was delivered on time or not. Hopefully it will but in any event that it's late I will go ahead and refund you the shipping cost of the order. Will that be fine?

Me:No need to refund me the full cost of the shipping. All I'm asking is for a credit for difference of 2 day to 1 day shipping out of principle. An amazon.com credit is fine. No need to actually refund me

the entire cost of shipping because that's not fair

Queen:Oh, thank you for understanding Reggie. Alright, can you tell me though how much was the difference, so that I can annotate it here.

Me:Honestly it was 3 dollars

I just dont feel right paying for 1 day shipping if it didnt come in 1 day

I would have preferred just to pay 3 dollars less and get it in 2

I understand, so basically I will be refunding you a total of 16.97, right?

That's in any event that we ship you out the item in 2 days.

instead of 1 day.

LOLWUT?

Cripes, I have more than I can count within 1/2 a mile from restaurants to pubs to clubs to basement pool halls. Maybe 15-20?

So i guess there's a trend around here for bachelor parties. All the guests "roast" the bachelor before the entertainment comes. My buddy is going to his second one like that tonight. Seems like a good time

That's the standard policy. You get the whole cost of shipping back if it's not there in the promised time.

Well considering I live in a city that is one giant suburb it's not bad. Everybody drives everywhere here. I just happen to live right by 3 or 4 big strip-malls shopping centers.

Yeah - I'm a few blocks from a big city's neighborhood "town center" (Seattle is very segregated by neighborhood). With the help of google I got these all within a 5 minute walk and I know I left out a bunch of delis and crap like that:Elliot Bay Brewery & PubPoggie TavernThe MatadorMaharajaCorner PocketWest 5Spring Hill Restaurant & BarRedline Music & SportsChopstixBeveridge Place PubFeedback LoungeWingdomeBang BarJaks GrillTalaricosShadowlandEphesusAzume SushiOlam Thai BistroRocksportPuerta Vallarta

Cool. I do wonder if you'll regret opening this door later. ;) I already shop on the outside aisles for the most part, but breakfast and lunch are usually bad. If I got in the habit of waking up early and making my own breakfast, I'd probably drop 10 pounds in no time. Taking the time to make my own lunch would have a similar effect and probably quickly too. The other 30 or more pounds might require some guidance. I'm at 250 now and used to carry the muscle mass to look alright around 200, but those days are probably gone too. Still, I need to get back there at least.I forget who was talking about it, but running is great. 2-2 1/2 years ago, I was up to about 25-30 miles the last week I ran, working up to that pretty gradually. I remember hitting 7, maybe 8 miles on my long run day, with a rest day scheduled the following one. By the time I got to that point, I was thinking about running on my way home from work every day and looking forward to it. I had the bug. I tried running the 5k I had mapped out the next day after that long run, and my achilles was possibly seconds from popping, I'm guessing from what I gathered talking to runners and doctors. Months went by before I could run again, and by the time I could, I considered jogging a chore. 40 pounds later... Just take it slow. I probably would've been a lot better off if I hadn't tried to push through the pain as I was a little over 2 miles into the jog when I first felt it and tried to push through, not stopping until about 2.5. Rest days are actually your friend, no matter how much you eventually might want to go for a jog on them. The last time I decided "today wasn't a good day to jog," I did so because my iPhone deleted my playlist somehow. Probably would've taken me 10 minutes or less to rectify, but I grabbed a beer and started cooking dinner instead. That was probably 3 months ago and I still haven't updated/synched my iPhone, nor have I gone for a jog. I didn't even run with an iPod/iPhone 2.5 years ago and I miss those days.

Anyone ever get that feeling when they are half way through their first pint of scotch and you question whether you should drink the other half and you know if you drink the other half something bad is going to happen. But you just go forth anyway, as if it's impossible to stop?

Hoping this isn't just me here.

Also - drinking Jack and Ginger out of an empty powerade bottle because I didn't do any dishes this week and I'm out of clean cups.
Being single is friggin' awesome, ain't it?

I enjoyed the Reginald Cornsilks bio.

Who is Kotzwinkle and who is Doofen...? I'm so confused by aliai at this point.

I am heading to New Orleans tomorrow for 24 hours to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday. I'd like to apologize publicly in advance to my liver.

Done at the bar. Drinking a solid pale ale from Utah and grilling some prime ribeyes. Yeah I'm not GM but I think he'd undoubtedly approve of the situation.

p.s. Pre dinner booby squeeze FTW.

kotzwinkle=rover/fish, until fish comes back on September 9.

Absolutely not dude. If it wasn't for some of the dudes here I would have never got my #### together after my divorce. There was some wicked cool people that posted some quotes that I copied down and still read to this day whenever I'm having a ####ty day (namely GM, Saints Man and Bentley had a particularly good one). I would pay it forward 100 times over.

If you are interested in running - scroll through the Ran a 10K thread. I've been dealing with a lot of pain lately after being a fat guy who thought he was still a gaunt 130 pounds from high school and pushing way too hard. I also upload different genres of running mixes for the brethren over there which you can download for free and throw on your running mix.

PS - are you open to doing whatever I suggest for you if I show you my before/after pics? I'll take as much time out as you need because it's important to me to be candid as long as you're willing to be open minded about my meal plan and ####. Went from 325 pounds to 182 from 1/1/2010 until today.
