GM's thread about nothing (79 Viewers)

767 pages of greatness before this little hiccup--all with no posts from three of the worst posters here. It's not a coincidence.

Please don't let this thread burn.

TRE - you're blogging now?
Oh, hey Frosty.
I gave your blog the top link on my links section. Also I found it because you were mentioned in one of The Daily Gopher's posts. Get this - they compared your writing style to mine. In a complimentary way.
YES!Thx gb. We were going to do a gopher foots preview and pass it on to someone (maybe you), but then we decided to just start our own blog. Saw the thing in the daily gopher, we've had a couple hundred page views today because of it. LAM?
What means LAM? And I would have gladly published your gopher football thing since I don't type gopher football like, ever. We could have joined forces to create Superblog.I'll be giving you a shout-out in tonight's post.
I sent you an email about it. (i think  )

I sent you an email about it. (i think  )
Which email address? I never saw anything. :kicksrock:
Uh, your first name dot your last name at gmail?
Ah. I only created that because gmail was the only email provider that would allow big enough attachments so I could get a TREsheet for WIS. Never check that one.
We can play up blog rivalry instead.

So GM, are you going to update that cornhole list or what?

Also, why is it that everyone in here has spoken to cos on the phone?

I'd like to hear more about these two.
Wish I could tell you more, but it was three years ago and I have forgotten most of it. Only very briefly met Wheelhouse. I hadn't been around the board long (7 months, maybe?), but BassNBrew knew that I was a Clemson fan and gave me a hard time about that. I remember him being really nice to me, though, and then I came back here and got the feeling he had made some enemies around these parts.

I participate (very poorly, I might add) in a college football pool every year. It's usually 20 picks ATS per week. $50 entry fee. There are three weekly winners ($75, $50 and $25) and then a top-3 payout for season long performance that is anywhere from $750-$1100, depending on how many people participate.

If anyone here wants to join, let me know and I'll get you the details.

Also, if anyone here is good at picking ATS, I will need help and will send you some sort of prize pack if I win. TIAYIC.

when does the deli thread get interesting? I'm on page 3 and rather underwhelmed so far.
:goodposting: Read page 1 and page 7 and got bored. Page 1 was full of boring questions about cutting meat (sorry, just not intersted in that topic...just give me the damn meat, I'm not sophisticated enough to know or care how thin it is or how much it costs or how it's made) and the page 7 was about the guy's life derailing and asking for career advice. Maybe folks could direct us to the intersting stuff?

:thumbup:I should really start betting on my own, but I'm so damn lazy. I started a betjamaica account once but they wanted a voided check or something...who has checks anymore?

TigerFan's Bag of Meat was pretty funny. And all of his #####ing and moaning I just pictured a younger Mickey Rourke digging his finger into the potato salad to make an old lady happy.
