Joined a "Biggest Loser" contest at work yesterday. 10 weeks and who ever loses the most weight wins all the money. Set up a simple meal plan, and going with only water to drink.
I can handle the food, and the lack of booze, but the headaches caused by lack of caffeine are about to make me kill someone.

Can't stand the taste of diet soda.
I am more likely to go with hot tea, but wanted to try a bit of "cleansing" first. I hear the headaches go away after about three days.

Coffee has very few calories. Plus it speeds up the metabolism so you digest food better.ETA: like Rudi said - black with no sugar. Drink water and black coffee exclusively (with maybe some Coke Zero on occasion) and it will help a lot.

Have you tried the Coke Zero/Pepsi Max varieties? They're somewhere between the Diets and the regular in flavor. You actually will be surprised at how quickly you adapt.

this focuses more on Diet Soda, this suggests that coffee doesn't help.Since coffee is acid based, and ideally blood should be slightly on the alkaline side, your body needs to unnecessarily utilize alkaline based nutrients to help digest it to maintain balance.

The fastest talking Fuller Brush salesman in the territory goes to this farm house. A very attractive woman answers the door. Her husband is out running errands. It only takes the salesman a few minutes to sweet-talk her into the bedroom.
Just as the salesman drops his pants the husband bursts into the room with a shotgun and yells "What the hell is going on here!?!"
The salesman continues to lower his pants and replies "I'll tell you the same thing I told your wife...if you don't buy some of my brushes I'm going to take a #### right here on your bedroom floor."

And after i spent about 10 minutes combing the cesspool that is the Dollar Store for balloons and duct tape, I walked out with only the tape and straight into the open and welcoming arms of Rite Aid, where they had all the water balloons I could ever want. Sure, they cost a little more than what they would at the dollar store, but I had a Rite Aid employee (Sherry) walk me right to them. No line, neither.Anyhow, I rushed home, filled up as many balloons as I could, threw them in a cooler and let the kids absolutely annihilate me in the goal box, all the well yelling encouraging things like "BLOW ME UP! KILL THAT BALL! MUDER IT! TATTOO ME! DESTROY IT!". I think they got the idea. Hopefully, they'll relentlessly attack the goalie on Saturday like they did with me yesterday. They seemed to enjoy the drills.
