I've got a friend on FB that comes up with some pretty good status updates every couple of days. I'm 90% sure they are original.

Today's: "If you know someone who gets stung by a jellyfish, you have a very small window of time wherein it's acceptable to offer to pee on them. For example, six months later is right out."

Secret Santa sometimes not so secret.Frosty's wife hot from the back and presumably from the front as well.Lots of links, for people with a lot of time to look at links.Still no full story on why a hot 22-year-old is with Gadzooks.Matt Forte = deadcosbjos doesn't like Hannity. Or Colmes. Or both. Don't remember. But he does serve a mean lime jello.On a perfectly serious note, a tragedy affecting SofaKings, who lost a friend in a plane crash. :(

I know, I'm just really grumpy for some reason.Both our kids have birthdays this week, we have two parties next weekend including one at home, and we're trying to figure out how to get everything done while my wife is dealing with migraines. We still need to get a tree and go see Santa and I don't know when we're going to have time.I went to an orthopaedic surgeon Friday. Confirmed stage 2 arthritis in my toe. Tried a cortizone shot but it didn't seem to help much. Sounds like I need surgery. I'm ####ing 38 and need to have surgery for MOTHER ####ING ARTHRITIS.

Both...seriously, this is the kind of stuff I lived for when I was a kid.

One day was enough. We had fun, but it was a lot of standing around for 5 hours. They cut the photo/autograph lines off at 225 people each. They had maybe 8 sessions each hour but didn't announce which players were signing where until 30 minutes before each session. They had 11k people there so it really took some strategy to get to see anyone.When we got there we got in a line for Bill Bray. Then we were able to get in the kids-only line a few times for Bronson Arroyo and Jay Bruce. As we were leaving Brandon Phillips was signing for people as he was leaving and was being mobbed by a huge crowd. Somehow I got close and for some unknown reason this hot little Natalie Portman lookalike who had a good position was adamant that I hand her our stuff so my son could get an autograph.All in all, a good time, but not sure if I could do a second day.
 
attn media folks: tebow had TEN completed passes today. he did not win this, or any of the other games, by himself

in fact the Broncos have mostly won in spite of him
