See pic edit above. As to job, will depend upon what the particulars are. It would take an "offer you can't refuse" right now to upset my timeline. Moving back to Chicago would have a lot of great aspects to it, but it would delay my "chuck it all and move to Nicaragua" plan by at least a year. For the right deal, I could do that, but it would take a lot.

How's your ###?So I haven't heard anything about the job yet. And my references haven't been contacted. They said it would be the middle-to-end of this week before I heard anything, so technically we're still in that window. But I just have this nasty feeling that they have already offered it to the other candidate and are waiting for his/her acceptance before they call me.

Great last day of freedom...
- Productive work day that included a $100 cash bonus for a metals trade that we executed and that I had absolutely nothing to do with but hey, socialism is fun.
- Took $12 from Vipul in head-to-head poker.
- Went to my 530pm weight class (body pump) where only 4 people showed up. One of the people was this really sexy gal who had never done the class before. She parked right next to me despite having an enormous empty room to set up her station. She gave me lots of flirty smiles. Or she was laughing at the fact that I'm a human snowman. Either way, that was cool until the instructor made us spread out.
- Met my buddy Brent at the bar of the newly remodled Ruths Chris. Being married to a fish eating vegetarian, I don't often go out for steaks. And we never really make them at home. I took advantage. I realize Ruths Chris is a chain and might get a bad wrap, but gosh damn, that was a fine meal.
-- one vodka soda w/lime
-- bowl of white bean and chorizo sausage soup in a tomato based sauce (fantastic)
-- Filet cooked MR (a little cool in the middle, but overall, excellent. Just excellent)
-- Very solid Cab that I forgot the name of. Tremendous.
Just picked up "Tuesdays with Morrie"...found it on my bookshelf. It must be my wife's. Fun read. Another wine, some more pages. Looking forward to picking up wife tomorrow so I can return to healthy eating and listening to her talk about her day.

Actually last summer I rode into work quite a bit (a whopping 3 miles) and my wife and I also did a bicycle pub crawl. 15 miles or so and about 8 or 9 bars.

Yeah, that was a great meal. Good use of blowing found money, imo. Our server was incredibly hot and the managers did a good job stopping by and asking us how everything was. Only the 2nd time I've gone to a Ruths Chris. The new location in Portland is dynamite.

I love how everyone had to go home so we could POST ON THE ####ING INTERNET. BUNCH OF OLD ####ING DORK GEEZERS.
I was feeling cut off from almost everything due to my relocation to the middle of nowhere...So wrong. It appears that we have decent flooding back home and I would have needed to stay there to actually be cut off from anything. Still not working and no fear about collecting a paycheck at the end of the month. I found a place to live and today has me pretty well settled in.
I am not expected to work my job until late next month, but I could come in and work for another group as soon as tomorrow. Torn, getting paid for nothing is a pretty good deal. It also seems extremely wrong and I am quite bored. Do I ask for a job, or hit the golf course daily? All of you (me included) contribute to my pay...what would you do?
I am about 5 days behind here...I will now shut up and catch up.
