this is worth reading if you're really bored and drinking
Jesus :lmao:
You know I read that I loved the ending but was I thought he really could have made the story a lot shorter. The first 2/3 weren't necessary.
The guy likes to write
I emailed this story to a few co-workers and friends. Our head trader finally got around to reading it today. Judging by his reaction, I'm guessing he found it a touch amusing.Yes, that is his real laugh.
Almost forgot to come back and watch this. If you hadn't clarified gender, I would have guessed wrong.
It's unbelievable. I've worked with this guy for 10 years almost. First time I heard him laugh like that I thought a heyena (sp?) had escaped the zoo and managed to find its way to our downtown office. He only unleashes it like that when the material tickles his funny bone in just the right way. I knew the story Ninja posted would evoke that out of him. Strange dude. Former body builder. Trophy wife. Gets up at 3am every morning, lifts weights, runs a bit, at his desk by 4:40am every day. He could break every single one of us in half. And yet when he laughs, it sounds like Richard Simmons getting his scrotum tickled by a feather.
:lmao:

Also, last night, pretty sure there was a middle-aged white dude with an escort two rows in front of us. Not sure how to describe what she was wearing, but I don't see many moms wearing it out and about. Very hot, though. Gotta give the guy props for bringing a hot hooker to a sporting event.
Hey man, great pics.

Hey man, great pics.
Is it normal to whip out your cell phone and snap photos of random women with your 7 year old son next to you?

I'm going back tonight. Maybe the guy is a season ticket holder and will be there again....maybe this time with a different hooker! :excited:

If you see him ask him "Where is your wife tonight?"

Of course.

We are babysitting our 18-month-old nephew this morning. We arrived to find him engrossed in a cartoon. Great. I take him in the kitchen briefly and my husband changes the TV to ESPN. I tell him to please change it back, and that his world (getting to watch what he wants, when he wants, etc.) is going to be rocked if we have kids.

I ran to the store for about 20 minutes just now. I came back to find that he had rolled the kid's high chair into the living room, right in front of the TV, and plopped the kid in it so as to limit all that toddling around. I can't decide whether to be super impressed or frightened for our potential children.
:lmao: He's going to love the "Baby Jail".
I pulled the Chair & TV Maneuver a few times in the days of Infant CC (whom some friends nicknamed "Trogdor"). If he didn't stop crying for 20 minutes, out came the chair and the kid DVDs. It worked like a charm. But as I watched him, a voice in the back of my head was seeing this and hearing this -

"WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAA!"

"Is something wrong Little CC?"

"THIS MUSIC. IS IT THE BACKYARDIGANS, SECOND SONG, EPISODE 4, SEASON 2?!"

"I believe it is. So you're keen on music then?"

"YES!"

"And this song in particular?"

"YEEESSSS!"

"Well then, enjoy Little CC."

"WOOOOOOAAAA!"

Anyone else live in a major destination city? Airfare is a ####load from Tampa to most places I want to go this year.
Charlotte is really expensive to fly out of. Not much competition for US Airways and they run with it.
We get screwed in Minny with air far because we have Target, Best Buy, Supervalue, General Mills, Medtronic, and 3M all headquartered here. That's a fair amount of business travelers who are going to pay whatever they're charged.

Actually we had more than that. We also had PBS and at least one UHF channel that showed wrasslin', Creature Feature movies, etc.
You mean like, Megashark vs. Giant Octopus and Dinocroc vs. Supergator?Sweet.
It was the late 60's early 70's and we hadn't discovered those things yet. More old school than that, lots of B&W. Story of my life - born too late for free love and too early for cool creature movies.

Yeah once we became banking epicenter jr., it was all over but the cryin' as far as airfare goes.

Nope. Just the generic Creature Feature. I guess it was sold to independent stations so they had some content. No cool hosts or anything. But we did get Kung Fu Theater with it.

People who have never slept in shuke's bed?
I thought it was one of those acronym thingy'sCouldn't figure out what CIKFCCY was.
lolz....that's what i did. :bag:
Strange, that's the first thing I thought as well. When I figured out it was a cornhole list, I thought about compiling my list as such for schtick. Then my ADD kicked in.

NCCommish is a welcome and fine addition in here. What took so long, fella?
I have been lurking the thread for a while actually. Sounds stupid I guess but I was unsure how much my presence would be appreciated. Some folks really don't care for me it seems and you guys are having a pretty good time. Didn't want to step on that. But I wanted to express my condolences for GB Packs loss. Then I was in and there was no turning back. So I decided to go ahead and take the plunge.

I started to compile my list and then figured out I haven't met enough people whose names start with vowels. Schtick aborted.

20 minutes after I finished my soup and sandwich (Tri Tip sub and Crab and Wild Musroom chowder), someone comes in from a meeting with a giant box of Jimmy Johns sandwiches that were leftover (whole sandwiches, untouched).

I pretty much have to have one even though I'm not hungry, right?
