I hope you're wearing the Reese's shirt today.For reasons other than Atty Thorn's birthday, I plan on drinking tonight until my liver begs me to stop. It makes me all warm and fuzzy to know that most of you will be doing the same.

My liver has long since given up on negotiation; it just hunkers down and tries to ride it out as best it can. Oh, and happy birthday Thorn.

What's a CEU?

Continuing Education Unit. I have to earn 36 of them every two years to maintain my professional certification as a medical coder, which to date has not made me one thin dime.

Will be participating in a Skate-a-thon next weekend and am looking for ideas on costumes to wear. It's four hours, fifty minutes with ten minutes of ice cleaning per hour, so I'm hoping to have a costume for each of the separate blocks. Two rinks will be used, one for casual skaters and the other for those who will be trying to pump the laps...I'll be skating on the death rink.Also, dude in my g/f's office said he would double his donation if I completed 500 laps but said it in such a way that he all but guaranteed I wouldn't come close. He's been a real ray to everyone lately due to his boyfriend leaving him a couple of months ago and I would enjoy proving him wrong. Any thoughts on how to pace this out?Unrelated, happy birthday Thorn.

While walking down the hall on the way to the bathroom I was contemplating what it would be like to have sex with the girl walking in front of me when another girl with an absolutely spectacular ### came around the corner in front of her. I reached the bathroom but without thinking, delayed going in to continue to watch the spectacular ### walk down he hallway. I suddenly came to my senses and quickly checked behind me to make sure someone from HR didn't catch me frozen in my tracks with my eyes glued to a co-worker's ###, before resuming my staring.This is normal behavior right? I'm not turning into an (unusually) dirty old pervert, am I?

I don't think it's normal to stare at a smoking hot ###, no. Please check yourself into a recovery program before you do any real damage to society.

my daughter is 5 1/2 and her favorite food by far is Indian. She doesn't get too adventurous there, but she absolutely loves some chicken tikka masala and if we go over lunch she will usually at least try pretty much anything there

I took her to see Star Wars in the theater tonight. She has seen episodes 4-6 countless times since she discovered them a month ago, but has never seen 1,2 or 3. 5 minutes into the movie she turns to me and says she doesn't like this one as much and it's boring compared to 4-6.

Just dropped off the wife at the ER as urgent care thinks she might have had a mini-stroke. She has to have a cat scan tonight to check for bleeding on the brain. She said isn't that where they drill holes in your head head. Yeah I answered, but I feel pretty good now she said. I said it creeps up on you and then when the pressure inside your head from the bleeding builds to a point that it affects your brain that is when they bring out the drill. Oh, she said. So i'm home getting the kids in bed and hopefully get to pick her up in a bit. her symptoms were a racing heartbeat and a numb face. This may call for a couple macallans for daddy while he waits for the call.

Attended a Daddy/Daughter Dance with my lovely princess tonight. Over 200 dads with their daughters, all dressed to the nines. I feel like there is some kind of Homer joke there, but I can't find it.

doing this tomorrow. my daughter is really excited, but I think it's mostly because they have a raffle at the end and she's won prizes two years in a row.

Our church, who held the dance, had door prizes, and I was really excited when my daughter won a handmade doll. What was really cool, was it was obvious after a few minutes that every girl in the room was going to win a door prize. It took a while but every ticket was called and everything from dolls to 10 dollar gift cards and more, over 200 girls got to go up to the stage and win something.
