DO NOT discuss the content/layout/format of your PM. DO NOT copy and paste it. DO NOT try to metagame PMs or the first game I ran using this theme. It's a slippery slope and will likely result in more harm than good. Especially if I have to mod kill you. All PMs were very different (read: shtick-laden) this game. Thinking you can make an assumption about them all based on 1 would be a big mistake, and it will get you and likely another member of your team modkilled.
ZING!!!!!!People who moderate some things prefer everyone to understand what's going to get them kicked and what's acceptable.
llomodkilling sounds fun
Not a medical reason, but had a good friend drop off the face of the Earth because he became to addicted to that Everquest game while I was a senior in high school. Guy used to hang out with me and a few others daily. Lasted about a year. We pushed hard in the beginning and made fun of him (even got his mom to let us break into his room) and those were terrible ideas. Said he had a gf on there and EQ was more interesting than playing basketball or Madden. About a year later he calls us to hang out. Doesn't say much. A couple of weeks later I was at a Wendy's with him after playing a pickup football game and he seemed more talkative than usual. I just asked something like, "get bored with EQ?" He responded with, "well, don't tell anyone, but that gf I had on there turned out to be a dude roleplaying as a girl." He told me more about how they spent hours on there doing their quests or whatever, did cybersex, he was paying for "her" subscription, etc. Said he realized it was kind of a waste. It was honestly very hard not to laugh at him, but two best things I did I think were to not immediately ridicule and keep my mouth shut. A few weeks later he told our other close friends, accepted some friendly joking for it, and things got pretty close to back to normal. Long story short I think people withdraw for a variety of reasons - most likely all embarassing. In your buddy's case it could be medical, but it may not be medical. Blackberry just doesn't make it very much fun. It's a chore to grind through them all one by one by one and they don't don't always come in the right order (that's what she said). What's a "cassette"?I obviously hate teachers, cops, fire fighters and ESPECIALLY children because I don't want to pay more in taxes. Oh how I hate the children. It certainly isn't because I think a significant portion is wasted or stolen. Really hate teachers.
A client called me yesterday to alert me to a misprint in our catalog, although it wasn't a misprint.
Thanks to the Comprehensive Procurement Guidline, your tax dollars go to buying this for $15.70 each, list, or you could buy this at $1.79 each, list. Since I'm ranting, might as well as add the sham that is the GSA too. Basically if you are allowed to sell to the gov, you have to charge them the price they set. Having seen the pricing, you get to charge anywhere from 15-35% HIGHER than the walk in the superstore price. Which means if you actually negotiated pricing it would be 50-65% LOWER than what they are paying now.
Of course we can't sell to the government because I had the unmitigated gall to be born a white male. If you wondering why the item is in there at all, it is because we buy the catalog and don't have a choice of what goes in it. Chances are you've seen one.

That's a whole other point. They don't even make machines to use them anymore, they are all mp3 based. But the gov thought it was an awesome idea to have cassettes made out of recycled materials. They're only 10x the cost! I must be sobering up. I'm really grouchy. What's a "cassette"?I obviously hate teachers, cops, fire fighters and ESPECIALLY children because I don't want to pay more in taxes. Oh how I hate the children. I put this in the "Be funny" thread but felt it needed to be posted for this audience as well:
You know how you get those email forwards about funny church bulletin typos and they're pretty funny but you're also pretty sure most of them are made up?
Well, thanks to my associate pastor brother who is a terrible typist and did a terrible job proof reading; a church in Ohio this week will be wishing a very happy 60th birthday to parishioner Dong King.

That Polish guy is fast.
I'd be more apathetic if I wasn't so lethargicBah! My upstairs maid forgot to renew my subscription.Speaking of funny, did you guys realize that Jack Handey was writing occasional humor pieces for The New Yorker? Heck, did you even know that Jack Handey wasn't made up? Anyhow, you should, because they are excellent.
