Can't even send Keys a message on facebook anymore. I of all people can understand screwing up this kind of thing and how embarrassing it is, but damn.
OK, I've been pretty patient and nice about the whole "he didn't send the gift" thing, but that kid is whacked. :loco:
There's no way he disconnected from the internet because he forget to send the cool girl her gift.
You'd be surprised.
Shamed into leaving the internet? My gawd man. Could you imagine if Woz had this problem? He'd be living in a cave.
I've hung out with Keys enough "in real life" to say that there's no way he takes this stuff this seriously. Obviously all of us are probably different (to some extent) off the boards, and we always joked about it. Usually that was to the tune of him laughing at how disliked I can be on here, but it was clear the guy both enjoyed the boards but took them for what they were. I strongly doubt that 1) he'd leave the boards just for making this mistake; and 2) he wouldn't make amends for the mistake. I don't really know what is going all but all I can think is that maybe he got busted at work and realized he needed to get away from the boards or some girl had an influence. Regardless, I don't know why the complete rejection of contact.

If you are going to walk away from the innernets, a clean break saying nothing at all is the way to do it. All the "LOOK AT ME, I'M RETIRING FOREVER" talk is pretty silly. No offense, Shuke.

Yeah but wouldn't you still keep in some contact with people you hung out with on a semi-regular basis? I've met and hung out with Keys in Vegas during the first week of March Madness for the three years leading up to this year. Tried to get ahold of him this year but nothing. No word from him either. Texted the guy on a semi-regular basis and usually talked poker and got to the point that the "boards" weren't really part of the equation. Just kinda odd for him to completely disappear. :shrug:Although I wouldn't ask for a better "ending" in the sense that the last time I saw him I left to go to a strip club and he was heading to a drag show. :lmao:

I'm going to punch an endangered sea turtle in the stomach this weekend.
Don't the shells go all the way around?
No, that's why they're endangered. This is what happens when you live in the midwest...no understanding of marine life.
Yeah? Well our turtles are smart enough to protect themselves from stomach punches
Snapping Turtles are badass.

 I think I'm starting to understand now.

Apparently sex is the best exercise.

On some drunken night in the summer I had bought the "INSANITY" workout thingy off of some late night infomercial after watching a marathon of "Zane's Sex Chronicles". I would try to do it once in a while but I could never stick with it (I would usually end up rubbing one out to chicks working out) Now once the 22 YO came (no pun intended) into my life this winter, I started doing the INSANITY workout more regularly figuring that anything I can do to improve myself will help to let me continue doing things with her before she realizes that I'm a waste of her time. After a few months of doing the workouts somewhat regularly, many people have commented to me about how I've lost weight and looked good (this would be people in real life that are complimenting me, note none of you jerk-faces have said anything, not even Thorn) I've probably lost about 18 pounds or so and have toned up some and alot of my clothes are almost too big now.

So last week due to work and seeing the 22 YO more than usual, I didn't do the INSANITY workouts at all and I ate like pig. I was figuring I probably gained a few pounds back. I checked the scale at my mother's house the other day and noticed I lost another 6 pounds. The only physical activity I had was a ridiculous amount of sex with the 22 YO over the weekend. There was a lot of sex in different positions, and I was a machine. You know how an athlete goes into the "zone"? That was me in the bedroom. Maybe I can write a book about losing weight via sex? Maybe make an infomercial? How about this for a title: "DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THE GYM.. STAY IN BED AND GET SLIM". And yes there will be a discount for GMTAN members.
If you can make it rhyme, charge an extra dime.
I think I found my VP of Marketing. Welcome to "Gadzooks Sexercise Enterprises", please fill out your paperwork with my Human Resources Director, Mr. Homer J Simpson.
I don't work on Fridays. But I will be looking forward to implementing our internship program for high school cheerleaders.

Also, I'll need a designated napping area, withprivacy being very important.

Yeah, who did you Smoo again? Some fantasy football league?
It was Brit, and if Brit wasn't as nice as he is, PN would be dead.
When I was going through my divorce I wasn't handling much of anything so well, and up and quit the mortgage business and left a couple clients hanging. Brit was one of them. 100% my bad. Also, at this same time, I was in a beer it forward and didn't send the beer in the timeline I was supposed to. Ended up sending the beer, and didn't actually get the beer that was going to be sent to me, but such is life.

It was a pretty crappy time. Wish I'd have handled it better.

Did I mention to our Wisconsin friends and Minnesota foes that I will be attending the next two rounds of NCAAs in Boston?
Nice. Should be good games
Anything more on the Keys disappearance? Apparently he deleted me from facebook too and got a new phone number
Wow, I was going to suggest that either you or stryker might have some idea what is going on with him.
 I got DF'd as well, and haven't gotten a PM back since Secret Santa.Hope he's ok. Didn't he go AWOL a while back when he had some women troubles?
I thought the last thing he posted about wimmins was that he was thinking about taking the plunge, ie: married?I also thought that's why the SS was late because she found out it was to a woman?Am I dreaming this?

Not sure if I mentioned in here, but over the winter I put in a bunch of raised beds for vegetables.

I made them 3 cinder blocks high and then stuccoed. I left a half inch opening every third block for drainage. I filled the bottom with rocks and then covered with a landscape cloth, so excess rainwater could drain away and the soil would remain in place. I then fill with a premium soil mix and and install both drip and microspray irrigation. After I planted my veggies and got them going, I covered the bottom with 3-4" of pine straw. THis provides shading to keep the soil moist.

I have three beds, totaling about 100'. They are five ft wide.

Next I will be putting in an aquaponic system- a connected hydroponic and aquaculture system to raise more vegetables and fish.

Here's some pics:

Right now I have about 8 tomato varieties, yellow squash, 10 pepper types, japanese eggplant, artichokes, kale, chard, numerous types of green/pole/bush beans, lima beans, kohlrabi, cabbage, collard greens, mustard greens, sugar snaps, lots of herbs, red onions, sweet onions, leeks - off the top of my head. I know I have lots more, but too tired to walk out there right now.I'll put in the cream peas, okra, cantalope and other "hot season" crops later this month.

this totally means pot, right?

Did a little light hearted complaining about the shape of the only Pro sports team in town with our season ticket rep who is after early renewals for next season. I made sure to include the :) when I mentioned how tough it must be to sell tickets in this environment. Response back:

By the way, are you or your boss planning to join us for tonight’s game? I have a pair of courtside tickets 117 CC 3-4, that I can offer and thought it would be a nice gesture. Not to bribe , but to simply to thank you for sticking by us this season). As you can tell, this season has been unique. Let me know and I would love to offer them (ofcourse your original seats would still be good too).Thank you Forrest!Kathleen
:excited: :excited: :excited: :excited: Gonna take Kellen to the game tonight since I took Cooper to two games vs. 1 for the older sibling. Gotta even that stuff out.

How deep do you have to plant fish?

I feel kind of bad. CC Fan really thinks I work for Fed Ex.
:lmao: Does anyone work at the Sears on 3rd and Main in Pueblo, CO?
Hey...have you ever been here? http://bottomsuptavern.com/photos (hint: get through the construction photos)
I've heard of it but never been. In fact there's 2 locations and the South one (construction photos) isn't too far from where I grew up. It used to be a nice little family pizza joint that my parents and I used to go to on Friday nights back in the day. Last time I was in that building was about 4 or 5 years ago.
