My GB has been MIA to "study" for the NCLEX (the test for nursing students to get their license as a registered nurse). So he hasn't hung out for the past month or so. Today he told me he couldn't hang out and drink, but at the same time he was asking the buddy I was with out drinking what was going on tonight. He also told this buddy and set of friends that he was took the test yesterday, but today I ask and he replies "soon".

I'm guessing the guy thing to do just bring it up straight up. Not sure why he'd lie to me other than than the fact that his GF is friends/roommates with my ex if you've been following the other thread. If that's the case that is just ####ed up and probably I should rethink our relationship.

Word of warning: if a friend had her boyfriend break up with her, don't offer an all-expenses-paid trip to Nicaragua to "cheer her up" when you're going there for business (or otherwise). :(

We mostly tried to do this, through the tears.Bigger issue than the tears was the fact that someone could come to Nicaragua for three days with three suitcases, none of which contained bug spray or sunscreen. I've found that my enjoyment of anyone's company on a trip is inversely proportional to the amount of luggage they bring.

I had a week-long vacation in San Diego recently with just a knapsack.

I had one of these at a little sports bar in north Austin a couple weeks ago, except it had a boneless short rib instead of the tenderloin and no olives. It did have the bacon and fried egg and other stuff and was called the national sandwich of Uraguay. It was awesome.

But then Kylie texted Kennadee and Haleigh and Rilee and Savanah that she wanted to go to the mall. Turns out that Kylie had already taken the grody test and she just didn't want to hang out with Alyssa. Right?
