How do you deal with your best friend lying to you?My GB has been MIA to "study" for the NCLEX (the test for nursing students to get their license as a registered nurse). So he hasn't hung out for the past month or so. Today he told me he couldn't hang out and drink, but at the same time he was asking the buddy I was with out drinking what was going on tonight. He also told this buddy and set of friends that he was took the test yesterday, but today I ask and he replies "soon".I'm guessing the guy thing to do just bring it up straight up. Not sure why he'd lie to me other than than the fact that his GF is friends/roommates with my ex if you've been following the other thread. If that's the case that is just ####ed up and probably I should rethink our relationship.

So my MIL and FIL want to treat their whole family to a cruise for my FIL 80'th birthday next december. We got an email stating that they have booked a cruise on RCL for next xmas. Begins in Colon, Panama and out to Aruba, Bonaire, Cartegna and back. They booked a family suite. I think I want to go. I've heard a couple good things about Cartegna. On the flip side I have to deal with crazy ### SIL and her 5 yo obnoxious kid.

[*]Volunteer stuff

[*]Organizations (if any leadership/elected positions this is a plus)

I would assume that these types of internships are going to be unpaid and in demand (assuming b/c of the industry) so anything that will prove that she can handle multiple responsibilities with demonstrated success is a positive. I'd be glad to take a look at it when she's done with a draft. Just PM me.

What surprised me the most though, was getting a text from the 22 YO this morning that said: "Your 1 AM text was hilarious and made me so happy. Apparently after drunkenly telling GMTAN texters that things were pretty much over with the 22 YO, Frosty sent me a mean-ish pep talk text calling me stupid and a dummy for giving up and that happy endings are possible. Apparently his Herb Brooks-esque speech inspired me to text 22 YO to inform her that things are NOT over and that Frosty from the internet would be the best man at our wedding (assuming she breaks up with her absentee boyfriend of course)

Also, Frosty agreed that I could marry his wife when he dies, which I thought was a kind gesture. (don't worry CatFish, I'm still taking the Hot Mrs. SLB when you finally kick the bucket too) Really don't remember anything else about last night, if not for the texts the whole night would be a huge blackout. Happy Easter

Actually, it used to be connected to a strip club and an adult novelty store. The strip club has been replaced by a techo club, but Cindy's Gifts is still there.
