So, with all the bad news, I can share some good (?) news. It looks like we're staying in Knoxville for a while because, as of tomorrow, I am heading back into the workforce. For the first time in a year. One of Romo's friends has a position in her property management group, and my going to work there will benefit both parties. I'm so excited just to get out of the house, and to have a little extra money coming in. I think it's going to really help things.
And, you know, as much as I griped about moving here instead of back to my hometown, this has been just fine. Strangely, my relationship with my in-laws has improved tremendously since living here, to the point where
I can tolerate being around them much more so than my husband. It's just really funny how things work out sometimes.
So, everyone, keep your chins up.
