GM's thread about nothing (37 Viewers)

Trying to sorta catch up...

1. GL Krista... and Mr Krista.

2. ####### Mavs.

2. Kinda drunk but taking the day off tomorrow.

3. GM, hire movers. Totally worth it.

4. Speaking of movers, I might put an offer on a house in the next twelve hours.

5. Is Catfish Cal's pirate shirt just a coincidence? Or is he intentionally matching the treasure hunting theme?

6. GF will be invited to move into the new house, which means I"m ever closer to being a poor, dumb *******.

7. There seems to be some sort of "responsible adult" thing happening here.

8. I just made crock pot chicken to pics/videos from my "glory days". RIP

9. Wish I hadn't numbered these.
Congrats, GB. Don't worry. I'm sure this one is different. This time it's true love imo.
:goodposting:

Plus the sex. WHOA THE SEX!! It's pretty awesome really. Air traffic controllers and the guys that make sure the trains run on time got nothing on me.
So you're the sexual equivalent of Mussolini?

Well I am circumcised.

The Avengers was good fun. If you're a Joss Whedon fan, don't expect much in the way of Joss Whedon dialogue. But it was definitely better than all the other Marvel movies leading up to it.

better than Iron Man? I expected it to surpass all the others, but Iron Man was pretty damn good.

Tough call. I'd say -1. The Dark Knight2. Batman Begins3.4.5a. Spider-man 15b. Spiderman 25c. Iron Man6. The AvengersPaltrow and Downy Jr. need to do another film together. Their scenes totally outshine all other dialogue.

Batman != MarvelI'm still confused on how it was better than everything but worse than Spider Man and Iron Man.

Yea, I went ahead and put all the comic book movies in perspective. Nolan blows them all way.:shrug:ETA: Ok, now I'm confused too. Let me talk this over with myself and get back to you.

BTW the gal that offered me and the dog a ride is a substitute teacher at Cal's school. I offered her money and she laughed. All she asked was I pay it forward.

On a related subject, I was in my old hood today and you know what? I didn't miss it at all. People are just nicer out here and I don't feel like I have to be completely alert all the time. On another related note, when we (me & the dog) started our walk, there were some roofers neither of us saw because we were way below them. That nail gun went off and we both started to duck for cover. lol

Some kid just got a nosebleed all over his SAT. Not one of those, I-picked-my-nose nosebleeds, it was a full on hemorrhage. Pretty awesome, actually.

Mrs. TF got a new iphone. The other day she wanted me to test out to see if the calendar synced with her google calendar properly so I put in a recurring "give your husband [fellatio]" reminder. It synced with google properly. It also synced with her open work calendar properly as well.

UPDATE: The conversation didn't go well. Voices were raised. Fists were thrown. Hair was pulled (really tragic because I don't have any on my head). In the end we delegated this conundrum to our five year old assistant and his team of flatulent plush elephants. They're currently working on a theorem to determine the values of #3 and #4. I'll get back to you when they've completed their analysis, Rude. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Good mornIng GMTAN. I will be at IKEA today if anyone needs anything.
Have fun finding your way out. Remember: if you get completely lost you can head back to the bedroom sets to bunk up for the night. Don't wait for closing though. There's usually a dozen people wandering around IKEA after they lock the doors and beds run out quick. So beat the crowd by giving up escape an hour early. That way you can claim a bedroom display and fortify it with chairs and stainless steel desk accessories before the rest of the suckers arrive. Godspeed and good luck.
