YES! Like I said before my "Today in History" is the day Bob Marley died.So I talk about Marley for a minute or two, including how he died of cancer. Then a girl raises her hand.Girl 1: I thought he got shot or something.Me: Well yeah but that was years before he died. Although he did shoot the sheriff. But he didn't....(pause to see who can finish the line)Girl 2: But he didn't kill the officer!Me: :lmao:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: (I was getting to it) ;)

I was kidding. SLB sent me a gift basket after my bro-in-law died. He is prince among men. No homo.

Our Bills just signed Vince Young? Oh boy. Bring in Reggie Bush and we can get all the top picks from that same draft together.

I applied for a job about a month back. I provided both my phone number and email address for contact info.I haven't heard anything yet. This isn't that unusual for this type of job, but I am starting to wonder if I'll be offered an interview. There's also a slight complication: I don't own a cellphone (hate them) and the answering machine for my home phone is stuck in Spanish mode. I've tried everything but can't get it back to English. I'm slightly worried that their human resources monkey called, got confused by the Spanish, and hung up without leaving a message. However, I'm Facebook Friends with one of the people doing the hiring (not from HR - the actual department I'd work in). Is it bad form to send a FB message asking about when they're scheduling interviews? I'm leaning toward not saying anything...
you should probably get over your hate of cell phones

I don't understand why people have cellphones. The only reason I can see needing one is if you break down on the highway or get held up by ruffians.
Yah, I guess being able to answer a potential job offer from where ever you are is pretty inconvenient.
Why can't you wait until you get home?

 I think Yao Ming begs to differ.

Even though I walked through the cabin 3 times while the rest of the guys were waiting for me in the van to go home, I somehow managed to leave my over night bag there. Did I mention it may or may not have pot in it? I honestly don't know.
Got it back today. Yeah, there was a bag of demon weed in there. :bag:

who needs phones or even speech for that matter? I can communicate just fine with body language and hand gestures.
Clicks and pops for me.

So they can get a job, apparently.

Side note to my last post.....The package was dropped off in the early evening. I didn't think anything of it because we get Inkjet and Toner Cartridges delivered a few days a week.So I went to bed not opening it. A little while later my wife came in the bedroom and asked what a GMTAN was. Then she said, with tears in her eyes that I had to read it, I was so surprised and touched that I started bawling. So thoughtful....Thank you, you guys are what make this place so good.
well played, gmtan. well played

I walked a good, solid 1.5 lengths of the local Home Depot today with about 6 feet of toilet paper hanging down from the back of my pants. Why wouldn't someone tell me this was going on?? I'm looking at you, guy who STOOD THERE WITH ME FOR 5 MINUTES WHILE YOU MADE ME A KEY.
