Anyhow, if you look at any of the hundreds of pics Mrs. SLB tagged me in on FB, there is a couple of me giving the Best Man's speech. Except I wasn't exactly the BM. Seems my GB didn't want to hurt his little brother's feelings but didn't want to exclude me so catted out by splitting the two. Kind of wish I would have told him to GFH now. Anyhow, as if giving a speech when you are #### faced wasted isn't awkward enough, I got to do mine on the dance floor surrounded by people on all sides. Still crushed the thing and took about 45 seconds which is plenty for these types of things. I was firing on all cylinders and had two different chicks cry on my shoulder (while they wrapped their arms around me) about how much they missed me. Another broad I didn't even recognize, and barely knew her from college, (but damn she looked good, pretty sure I almost hooked up with her one night) immediately greet me after my speech, threw her arms around my waist and asked me to escort her to the smoking area. Pretty sure she rubbed my junk too. Did I mention Mrs. SLB was so wasted she was dancing on top of a table or something with a GB of mine and I was so wasted I didn't even care?

Most of the good neighborhoods in Seattle proper are north of downtown which isn't an option for you, but you could do West Seattle, which is where I am, that is nice and close to the sound to boot. If you want more of the suburban feel, Renton and Belevue are fine. You can also go more East and start to head up into the mountains a bit

If my notebook is accurate, this would be at the Boeing facility in Renton. Some good choices from there - you can go East side or downtown side. Most of the good neighborhoods in Seattle proper are north of downtown which isn't an option for you, but you could do West Seattle, which is where I am, that is nice and close to the sound to boot. If you want more of the suburban feel, Renton and Belevue are fine. You can also go more East and start to head up into the mountains a bit

not interested in any distant burbs. just wasn't sure if there's good city living around there or not, or which neighborhoods to focus on.I assume they'll put us up in some corporate housing so options might be somewhat limited.

Actually, it's an easy commute because it's opposite traffic. 509 to 518 will get you to South Center in about 10 minutes at rush hour. 405 North will slow down a bit but not bad at all.

I don't believe it would. My dentist and my vet are both in South Center (about 10 minutes West of Renton) and I get there from West Seattle at rush hour in less than 20 minutes - 10 minutes to the 509 (highway) and 10 on the highway to South Center. I would say it would be 30 minutes on most days.

Right - If you want kind of an outdoorsy/mountain experience go East (more East than the Eastside suburbs) but it will definitely be more of a suburby experience than a city one. It is beautiful though.

The advertisements are obnoxious, you can't check your words on a dictionary (which I'm fine with) and it's all too easy to accidentally start a game with a Facebook friend you really don't want to play against. Plus, I'm now terrified that my wall is LOADED with goofy animated Word With Friends achievements. Totally ruins my branding, brah.

West Seattle is an EASY commute then. You're close to downtown too but will have to deal with I-5 or 99 then which means some traffic but would definitely be a blast for a summer. I did corporate housing downtown for 2 months and really enjoyed it.

That's what I was afraid of, too. She doesn't write like this, either--she's no GM and does know how to spell. So it actually made me even more alarmed that she was on something already when she wrote it. I have no way to get in touch with her other than e-mail, and I did write back but have heard nothing.I have to figure out if I can find her mom's info. I know her last name but am forgetting the first name.####.

Two updatesooshy guy I interviewed and hate told my boss that his interview with me was the best one he had all day. Maybe it was the cleavage.I know we've rightfully made fun of my friend's cat who e-mails me (or rather, my friend) in the past, but I received this about an hour ago and don't know what to make of it and am actually worried. I don't know if it's from my friend or the cat.
