GM's thread about nothing (26 Viewers)

It's looking like my entertainment value as a single divorced guy may be done.
I've seen you mention this a couple times now. Seems kinda fast :shrug:Tell us about her! And GLGB
More importantly, does Knuckles know this, and does she approve of the new woman.
I'm not getting married or anything. It just looks like I've found a fun, sexy, stable woman and I'm really not interested in pursuing anything else right now. Knuckles has resorted to sending crazy texts about how much she loves me, to which I don't respond.

I've got some time on my hands now and "crazy" has never scared me before. I'll take her digits

I had heard of men who actually had turned down their wives for sex, but I've never done and was pretty convinced I never would. At this point, however, she's wearing me out. I'm not actually going to turn her down or anything, partially because I'd have to punch myself in the face and partially because I'm afraid to do anything to change what's been going on the last month and a half, but good lord. And yes, this is probably partially bragging but really I'm tired and I don't really have anybody else to talk to about this kind of stuff, so you nerds will have to do.
Man I hear you. One night at the cabin Mrs. SLB moaned "I want to scream so bad" but she knew she couldn't because my parents were in the room above us. I threw in a "you do and I'll choke you to death" for good measure.
:lmao: This was a joke, people. Sadly the 50 shades of whore seems to be wearing off. :sadbanana:
I called YSR last night, it was sort of late, she didn't answer.

IB has been MIA in a long time. Of course I wish Tuffy would come back and B-Fred would post more too.
You also butt dialed me and left a 4 minute voicemail. There was no speaking on the message, but the sounds I heard sounded like either you were having sex or rowing a boat. Or I suppose both. Either way I liked, thanks.
Judging by the time of the call, I was walking/exercising. I'm glad you like the sound of my pulsating thighs.
you will get quite a bit of spam early. don't bother with anyone that only has one profile pic, gives out their yahoo email in their profile, or has a search radius larger than 50 miles. I met a few pretty decent people on there and had some fun dates, and I think I may have met "the one".

Do I need to get some bolt cutters to remove your ring finger?
Good morning Jimtanners,

Yes, I'm still alive. Thank you to all who texted/emailed/called/FB messaged me. It's really nice to be thought of.

Now, you all get out there and make it a great Monday!
Well that clears that up. I won't bug you anymore GB, hope all is well with the baby.

I am calling upon the power of the GMTAN for a good cause. I will be riding in the MS150 bike ride at the end of the month to help raise money for Multiple Sclerosis research (I guess SLB's walk did not raise enough for them last year). I have a cousin who suffers from it and would love to no longer hear about her bad days.

If you can find it in your heart to donate.

Any and all shtick is welcome in your donor name. As an added bonus I will post a shot video this weekend if I can hit $300 by then (already at $220) and if you guys help me hit $500 I will be open to suggestions to add to the six foot orange flag I will be attaching to my bike.

Thanks in advance.
:tumbleweed: Just a pity bump for me.

I am risking severe penis scarring, all you guys have to do is donate a little money to a good cause.
Done
:thanks: :thanks:  :pickle: Thanks to Kaphish William's generous donation I am over $500 and now accepting ideas for a flag to add to my bike. The three currently on the pole are "MS 150", "Team Fig Newton", and "Bikin for Kristen".

Thanks again.
You're welcome. I lost a little bit of money to GM and he told me to donate it so you just got a few more bucks.

No, of course not.

Signed up for match.com last night.Haven't been over to the thread here, but I guess I should. The whole profile thing is exhausting, putting up pics was harder than it should be because they won't let you upload from your phone or iPad.Of course getting rejected by email is a new sensation. I highly recommend it. And when you see your profile view number go up, but nothing happen, that is almost as good.Did get spammed right away, and again this morning, so I have that going for me.

I was really surprised by the amount of spam, but I shouldn't be. I was looking through profiles on my iPad last night, and started getting a few IM messages. Since the iPad won't handle Flash (thanks APPL), I got up, fired up the desktop and checked out the IMs. It only took mere seconds before they were asking for cell phone numbers and other ways to communicate. Not sure where this leads to, but I stayed away.

Awww man. I'm going to have to sift through ~20 pages to see if I missed any other pool pics from SLB.
No, and that was from the lake. I haven't been back to the pool since that night. I have a jammed packed schedule for the next couple of weeks so I'm not sure when I'll get back up there. I'll do what I can to get some pics posted though.

Things were rolling along fine then she got the sniffles down at the lake...been on a 3 day drought since then. Was considering ordering one of these too.
she also broke into my house.
But then she cleaned it right?

First morning back the office after trip to Luxembourg:

1. Paralegal #1 tells me, tearfully, that she is terribly ill and will have to have surgery next week, causing her to miss 4-6 weeks of work, and by the way she's been here about five months and doesn't qualify for short-term disability, so can I authorize her not working (but getting paid) for two weeks and then working from home the rest of the time.

2. Paralegal #2 tells me that she has to have some cysts removed from her face and also is battling an enlarged thyroid that might or might not be cancer--we'll find out in a few days.

3. Lawyer tells me, not really tearfully but in much more of a shrieking way, that she was in the hospital Friday and Saturday after vomiting blood, and biopsy results have come in and her doctor said she needs to come to the office right away.

I have seven other seemingly healthy people working for me. Should I just leave for the rest of the day before anyone else has a near-death experience?

New one. Paralegal #3 just got back from the fire department and doctor's office. As she was going to her car after lunch she took a major spill--cracked two teeth, has cuts and bruises all over her face, and severely sprained her wrist and some fingers. The fire department cut her ring off because her finger had swollen up so much.I'm not making this up. Is it possible I'm on Candid Camera? WTF is going on here? I'll take solace in the fact that, to my knowledge, no one has been shot in the face here today. :scared: indeed.

Did she get biopsy results?
Paralegal #2 will get biopsy results in a few days and Lawyer #1 should have them by now, but I haven't heard from her which is worrisome.I'm happy to report that about 1/2 hour has passed without anyone suffering a major illness or accident in my group. I can hear Paralegal #4 and Lawyer #2 happily chattering outside my office, so I'm hopeful.

We do have this coming our way, which could take out some of the rest of us. Most likely Lawyer #3 who is flying back from Chicago tonight.

I have a mediation going today where even though my client is being offered everything they want they refuse to accept it because they're mad that they didn't have more notice.

Hi guys. First time back in for a few months. Anything remarkable happen? Other than Krista's impending doom, that is.
take a cab home
and have paralegal #4 drive your car home, just to be safe.
Don't get involved in any threesomes at the airport.

I have a mediation going today where even though my client is being offered everything they want they refuse to accept it because they're mad that they didn't have more notice.
Maybe your client really just needs a hug.

"Working" all day sucks. I really got used to putting a couple of hours in every day last week then spending the rest of the day with my boys fishing, swimming and drinking beer. I need to start buying lottery tickets or have U308 hit $200 a pound. :kicksrock:

Cancelled my free trial with match.com

I have my kids for the next three weeks, so didn't want to pay for time that I really couldn't use. Plus I think my profile and pictures need some real work.

Will probably give some of the free ones (OKCupid and Plenty of Fish) just for practice until the first of July. Then will go all out with match.com again.

So I decided to go to the Canadian Rockies next summer over the Eastern Europe trip. In the end, it is far less :moneybag: and closer to home. Europe will be another year.

Hi Jim Tan charitable souls. My wife and I are walking in the Autism Speaks walk for Puget Sound in September. We're lucky in that our son is considered on the mild end of the spectrum, but in his pre-school classes, we see some cases that really tug at the heart strings. One of the keys in treating Autism is early detection and therapy but there's not nearly enough awareness in that area. If you are so inclined to help Autism Speaks address those critical factors and want to make a donation you can do so here.

You can also sign up for doing your own walk in your own city and support the charity that way. You can do that here.
