I like wine. Specifically Red wine. Partial to Cabernets and Chiantes. Tell you a story: In the early 90s I worked next to a liquor store. (Twin Liquors} Since I went in all the time, they would recommend stuff to me. One time I went in and they said: You have to buy this, it's $10 a bottle and it's awesome! I ended up buying 3 bottles, and loving every one. It was called Duckhorn. Now it's $60+ a bottle. I guess everybody figured it out

Most Duckhorns are $20-25 now, altho they do have some single vineyards that get pretty expensive. I have a bottle from the mid-80s I picked up from an estate.I should be able to shake loose Thur after 7. Let.s meet central./downtown?

I declined to go but received a text an hour ago indicating that the musical entertainment that Albini's wife put together for it was...a marching band. It's like my life has come full circle.

Has GM been here since the new kid popped out? I feel like we're probably missing out on some good stories involving poop and breast milk.

Lot's of poop and loads of breast milk. Also, my MIL is in town. For a month. A MONTH! And I'm not going to complain about it for fear of admonishment, but am out of line in thinking that a MONTH is bordering on an egregious amount of time to stay with family? I get it...new baby. But come on. I find myself inventing reasons to go to Home Depot. And I LIKE my MIL. Can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't like her, though I might rapidly get that point over the next MONTH. Baby is doing super, thanks for asking. Mom's doing great too. As far as babies go, little Hazel is top notch. Eats well, sleeps well and poops like a champion. The dog we inherited in the move has become her shadow. He growls now anytime somebody comes near her, which is kind of cool I guess until he bites somebody's arm off. Tanner, the cat's doing great too. Ignores the baby when he's not glaring at her.Oh, and I'm in absolutely no rush to have sex again in this lifetime. Some of the things I saw last week cannot be unseen. I don't recall these types of fireworks with the last two kids. Jesus...it was like a Ghostbusters movie in there.
