OK, but I just ask we don't do too much walking. My feet are killing are me. I don't know if it's from altered gait due to the arthritis or the stretching program my doc has me on, but my plantar fasciitis, which I cured about 5 years ago, came back worse than ever this past weekend.

I feel your pain. No shtick. Some place with its own parking lot would be ideal.

I was also unprepared for the poop and fluids involved in childbirth. Glad #2 was a csection.Portland is grand. The hotel is right next to the giant Nike store. Every chick working there has on those lycra/spandexy running pants. I spent four hours in there this afternoon. It was probably a bit much when I broke out the lawn chair and cooler.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned my trip to Portland several times in this thread. I have an event tomorrow night at Oregon Zoo, but I think I'm going to either cut out early or skip it altogether. I will pm my number to you.We ate at the Avalon hotel tonight. I HATE three hour dinners. There's no food in the world good enough to have to deal with that.

JIMTAN LAWYERS ---> I haz a question.

My mother was rear-ended (and not in the good way) about two months ago. She had to go to the hospital and stay overnight. Ended up with 3 cracked ribs. I have been dealing with the other driver's insurance company for her. The adjuster told me to call her when we felt that all the medical was cleared up and we would discuss money for pain and suffering. Instead she ended up calling my mom last week (the day before the adjuster was leaving for a week vacation) and more or less told my mom that she was sending her a check for $1000 for her pain and injuries. My mother was half-awake at the time, and doesn't believe that she agreed to that, but isn't 100% sure.

My question: Is a verbal agreement final, or can we reject it as long as she doesn't cash the check or sign the papers that they are sending?

I'm not expecting her to get rich off this and neither is she, but it seems like having to deal with the pain of cracked ribs might be worth a little more. I'm hoping to get enough to take care of a few of her old bills if possible.

Lukas had a blood vessel burst in his brain and momentarily stopped breathing. He is considered stable and the blood vessel bursting is very common in prematurely born babies and 75% end up with no long term issues. He is on a ventilator for the breathing issue and is currently being treated for an infection which they haven't been able to pinpoint yet. It's a step back considering he was just remove from the critical unit a few days ago, but he is, at least, considered stable.

My brother is back in town tonight to grab some necessities before driving back to Denver in a couple days. I'm going to buy him the biggest beer ever and may even give him a hug for the first time since he graduated high school 15 years ago.

Eject now before its too late. I thought I could make a marriage work/last with very little physical chemistry. It didn't. It led to a lot of marital problems. Well, not sure if 'led' is the right word there, but it helped create some larger problems we could never overcome.But, YMMV and I'm sure others will have other advise.
