GM - I'm convinced that nobody REALLY likes Shiner, even down here. I know tons of people that "used to" like Shiner Bock.

Shuke and I beg to differ.

I like Shiner, too. It's not a Great Beer, but compared to what it's usually up against (the Heinekens and Sam Adamses of the world) its a good beer. Goes perfect with BBQ. I'm not typically a fruity beer guy, but their Ruby Red has a nice ginger kick to it and is a great summer brew.

Speaking of cornholes, I was holding off on definitive plans for Saturday because I've felt like crap the past couple of days. Feeling better today so I think I can still make a go of it. The issue is, I've gotten a lot of lukewarm responses from, well pretty much everybody. In addition to Rudnicki, Proninja and Fish in here, I also contacted Britney Spears and Pigskin P. Everybody said something along the lines of, "maybe". Well, that's not enough to plan a night of cards around so I either need some yes, I will be there's or we can plan on something else. Anybody else up here I should be considering?

What is "best ball" ?

Under this format, owners aren't required to set starting lineups because each owner's entire roster is in play. The players who post the highest point totals at their positions each week are automatically considered the starters, so every team gets its optimal lineup. The system eliminates the often agonizing process of determining a lineup each week and eliminates second-guessing on everything but roster moves.

All the fun of the draft, none of the headaches of the free agents, lineup decisions, etc...especially since this would be low dollar and most likely the 3rd or 4th or 5th leagues for most of us

Most of you know I work in oil and gas. A few years ago, our team was sitting in a meeting...the average age of our team was probably 28ish, and our boss was 62ish at the time. Anyone else ever have it happen to them where they scan page 1 and don't see GMTAN, go on to page 2 and not see it, and think "oh crap, who got it killed? I hope it wasn't me." Only to go back to page 1 and find it got bumped back up in the middle of your process? The relief is impossible to describe.
