What am I missing with the BED FAN? $80 to blow air under your covers, rather than sleeping without covers with a $20 fan blowing on you?

 
Not sure if it's because i'm a little drunk, but I think me possibly becoming facebook friends with Tanner's mom is hilarious

 
got home stoned and hungry, so I decided to try room service.

Ordered Tortillas soup, seared scallops and asparagus.

The soup and asparagus were fantastic. The first bite of scallop tasted rotten and I spit it out. I do not give bad seafood a second bite.

I called room service told them the scallops were hideous and ordered a steak.

Twenty minutes later the server arrives witht he steak and a bill for $56

I ask wtf? She say they tore up the previous bill ($47) because of the bad food and this was the new bill.

I told her that the chef had a lot of balls serving me bad scallop and then charging me more to send a replacement. An even swap I could maybe see, but an upcharge was ridiculous.

15 min later she called and told me the manager comped the whole thing.

Any Westchester County residents/experts want to suggest the best way to get from JFK to a hotel in downtown White Plains? It's a business trip to the client will be paying. I was thinking a prearranged car service rather than a cab for more comfort. I'll have three bags and it will be past midnight so I'm not trying to take the train.

 
I feel like being unprepared may have worked out. Kinda let the auction come to me this year. Not knowing much made me more patient (cribbed this from a father's day card).

Need quality hawkshark opions though. Maybe some of these guys are dead or something. 12 team league, with scoring and stuff...

Looks like a pretty damn good team. I get that the RBs (including Gore) are injury risks, but Mendenhall at a buck was a steal, the WRs are very good (depth could be an issue during byes), Hernandez is money, and I'm sure you saved mucho $$$ by getting Ryan instead of spending on Rodgers/Brees/Brady etc. Or maybe all the QBs are cheap in your league. Still, :thumbup:

QBs are expensive as ####. Rodgers hit 70. Brady, Brees, and Stafford( :confused: ) were all in the 50s. Money was flying early. Ryan, Rivers, Vick, and Romo were the ones in my price range. I think Ryan ended up being the cheapest.

Sadly I was sober, it would make explaining it so much better. It was four weeks ago yesterday. My ability to take a punch was put to the test when I jumped into a pool, smashed my head open and broke my neck. Still some mild suffering from the concussion and back pain. It is next to impossible to sleep and given that I already have insomnia and a mind that won't quit, is my biggest issue. Otherwise I'm fine. I'm hoping to be able to start getting hammered again in the next couple of days. I really need it. And to be clear, I don't WANT booze, I NEED booze. I hate to admit it but I have some severe depression going on too. This is my second major concussion in 3 years and I had at least 6-12 of them between fights/brawls & football when I was a yute. I understand it is par for the course.My link

Anyway, found this pic I don't think I've posted yet. This is my stoned out of my mind on percocet as we make our 4.5 hour trek home from the lake. I don't remember taking it.

In that case I think you made out like a bandit. I hate Rivers and Vick and as a Cowboys fan, cannot own or recommend Romo.

They told me 10/30 initially. I have a follow up 9/19, that I'm checking to see if I can move to 9/18, for another CT scan to see how it is healing.I'm not wearing that brace anymore though. I have a cool, new, hip head brace that all of the kids are cheesing about. Here's a pic of me.

Four or five months ago, talking to my mother, she mentioned that a friend of a friend of some distant aunt had a son who was looking to move out to my area for an internship with a local company. My mother tells me she told them that he could live with me, in my small 1 bedroom apartment. For the whole summer. For free. :rolleyes: Thanks, Mom. She gave them my number, email, and my address and had them pass it along to the kid. Then every week she'd ask me if the kid had called yet. "Have you heard from him? Is he moving in?" Guy never called, emailed, or anything. Never heard from him. Since he was so distantly connected from people my mother only sees every six months through people that my mother doesn't even know, she had no way to inquire on her end what was up with the kid and never followed up. Yesterday my dad emails me, "Found out what happened. He was arrested for possession of child pornography, I don't think he's moving out to where you are."
