I won't be around much in the next week or so. My laptop started on fire so I'm browsing on my phone, lil Bronkowitz is due in 6 days, and I actually have to do some work during the day to get ahead in case labor takes a long time. Updates will be appreciated 
Sorry. I haven't had much going on. Currently drinking a rum & ginger ale that's a 50/50 mix. Shaping up to be an interesting weekend. First Longhorn tailgate of the year on Saturday coupled with the 18th Annual Four Horsemen Fantasy Football League live draft on Sunday (now with 1000% more cosjobs).I also think I'm about to suck it up and buy an FBG subscription for the fist time in a few years this evening, because I don't think I know enough player names to fill out a complete roster otherwise. She had one fracture in her fibula, two in her tibia, and of course the fracture dislocation of her ankle. :X Her surgery was successful, and she'll get to move from a cast to a walking boot soon. Teenagers heal pretty well. :nohomer:JFCHow is your niece doing?I don't share this stuff here normally, but the above compels me.My brother's family was vacationing in Branson last month. My niece fell down a flight two stairs and gruesomely broke her leg. Foot pointing the opposite direction, the works. They're at a BnB in the woods, no one is sure if an ambulance can make it down the road. My brother turned her foot back around (no idea how he did that) and loaded her up in his Honda Pilot. The owners of the BnB urged him to NOT go to the hospital in Branson, but to drive an extra 40 miles to Springfield.To be fair this is the Ozarks where they apparently have so little training they don't know how to put a neck collar on correctly.
With all the old folks visiting Branson, I would have thought they had better facilities.
And the upshot is that my brother didn't let the doctors in Springfield operate on his little girl either. They made her "stable for transport" and my brother pulled up at the clinic in Round Rock in 10 hours. They had done her knee scope previously.
Oh yeah, did I mention on my way to the hospital there was a shift change in ambulance drivers? Stopped at some BBQ joint I'm told.Now I want to go back and burn the place to the ground.

Leaving for the Adirondacks tomorrow morning where I will be golfing and destroying my liver with my younger cousins who told me they want to golf, drink and either get laid or arrested or both. Sounds like some nice quality family bonding.

Working my regular 6 days/week, and in the evenings helping Mr. YSR rehab one of our rental houses so that we can get a renter in tomorrow. Since I feel like sharing, went to the doctors for that stupid restless leg syndrome, which sounds made up. He agreed with me and gave me some medicine, it's an anxiety pill that supposedly is a "side use" for RLS.
I have not slept this good in years....
