Good to hear SB

Since I feel like sharing, went to the doctors for that stupid restless leg syndrome, which sounds made up. He agreed with me and gave me some medicine, it's an anxiety pill that supposedly is a "side use" for RLS.

I have not slept this good in years....
What is it???I want to sleep!

Oh my. I'm going to try and hump my wife before the kids get home. brb
Whatever
She was cleaning the bathroom and said the kids are going to be home soon. I told her she was already bent over cleaning the toilet to just take her pants off. :coffee:
A famous woman once said "We cannot lead from behind"

My company was recently acquired by another and I've since changed positions from a Controller to more of an operational role. I think it's a good move for me long-term as I'm new to the industry plus advancement would have been difficult in my old position. One nice thing about my old job, however, was that I just had to do my job and I was left alone. Now I have employees.

Today at about 0930 I heard one of my worker bees snoring. Mind you, this lady made close to $90k last year and is ####### snoring at her desk.

She nonchallantly blamed it on her diabeetus medicine and explained to me that "it only happens in the morning". When I told her she needed to speak with her doctor to have her medication adjusted and had the audacity to tell her that sleeping on the job was unacceptable her response was "Are you trying to get rid of me?". #####, you're trying to get rid of you.

I've fired people in the past and always take it very personally. Today I realized that people like this don't give a ####, so why should I?

Thankfully, I'm halfway through a bottle of Barolo and am ready for a long weekend of telling MyFitnessPal and my liver to have a nice season.

Downloaded the latest DD file, downloaded it to Excel and added a bunch of pretty colors. I still haven't read my draft sheet but it looks FABULOUS!

I'll have to look into that. I take Ambien every night and it just doesn't work that well.

Lorazepam is pretty addictive so not recommended for extended use.

So my daughter made the University Choir this year. She's so excited. I'm super proud.

Last year, her first year eligible, she didn't make it, but received an email from the Instructor basically telling her that her voice was just too strong and she didn't blend with the others. She felt a little better knowing it wasn't because she wasn't talented enough, but it still stung.

She worked hard at toning it down and blending and it must have worked.

Also addictive

I'm only in one league this year and it's an autodraft. Those are the worst. I have to rank by 5:00 today and I'm seriously considering just using Yahoo's rankings since I don't know anything.
I'd rather pluck my eyeballs out with a rusty fork

I have it too. My wife and I can't sleep in the same bed because of it. Had blood work done just yesterday, apparently iron levels can affect RLS. I also have a sleep study scheduled as sleep apnea can be correlated with it. Are you having a sleep study done? I'd hate to have to turn to drugs for sleeping.

I agree. Blood came back fine, I should probably get a sleep study. I don't like taking drugs at all but man it feels good to sleep

Headed out to meet the boys from Dallas. They've been having fun in the Willie Nelson way all afternoon. Already thrown out of a strip club an apparently several vodka tonics into it at a steakhouse. One just texted me to ask where they could find great dessert, so they must plan on smoking it up again after dinner.

Nah, I think it's RBS..... Restless Brain Syndrome. Can't shut the brain down. Too much stress.

Some of you need to wander over into the RNC thread. I'm having a blast and that thread needs some more shtick.

Yes, I'm looking at you Marvin.

If you forward a copy to me I will minimize the shame and embarrassment I had planned for you sunday. And I'll bring a projector.

FYI Everyone here knows Disco Stu and Bogart are cool folks to cornhole with, but unialias is now also top-rated on the cosmeter,

However next time, i will insist on cabs home. I have no desire to spend the night in the Dallas county pokey.

Chick FilA?

After spending most of the last two days driving up and down I35 and going to Costco, IKEA, Sams CLub and Restaurant Depot, I have pretty much resolved that I hate everyone, present company excluded (for the most part).

He's been rocketing up my "want to cornhole list" for the past year or so. We need more shot videos and debauchery from him.

This was about my concussion only and the short and sweet of it is everything looks good. I do have more spinal damage (bulging discs) than previously thought but the doctor seems to think everything will be fine with time. He said I was incredibly lucky, which of course I know, and went as far as saying that out of the last 500 patients he has seen that has had a similar injury every one of them would trade places with me. He also make me feel a little better about my stupidity when he told me about how another neurologist at St. Lukes did the exact same thing as I did, also in Branson, last year. Except the doctor couldn't move his arms and legs after the accident. Thankfully he is on his way to a full recovery now.Thank you once again for your love & support. Most of all, thanks for being such good friends to me you bunch of dickmittens.

sure, if by seed you mean semen.

Drinking some whiskey to train tonight because next Thursday I head to Denver where the altitude, my friends, copious amounts of alcohol and drugs I shouldn't be doing in my 40s give me about a 50/50 chance of returning home alive (this will seem really creepy if I really don't).
