GM's thread about nothing (50 Viewers)

I just had a Breakfast Jack.... while sober.
Never had one of these Breakfast Jacks. Where do they rank against the Sourdough Jack, ergo the greatest fast food sandwich in the history of ever? One great thing about biking to work and back? I'm avoiding the siren song of Jack 'n' Box on my commute home. Just haven't had the courage to pedal into a line yet. Also, have found it is pretty hard to poke smot while riding my bike.
Ergo?
No? do I mean 'ie' instead?

GM> What's our LEAD PIPE STONE COLD LOCK parlay this week?
lol...I would take whatever bet I wager on from now until the end of the year and fade the ever loving forrest out of it. I don't stay hot for long.Man, big game for our Gophers this week. I'm officially nervous for this one.
Almost finished with my blog post/preview of the Iowa game. Both of the "experts" from the Big Ten Network and both of the ESPN Big Ten bloggers picked the Gophers!!!11!!

It's fried egg, chesse and sliced ham on a hamburger bun. It's 99 cents of processed goodness. I'm taking care of my mom, and the only thing that she will eat right now on a regular basis is a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit (Was cereal before that, McDonald's cheeseburgers before that, waffles and ice cream bars before that). The greatness of Jack In The Box makes breakfast 24 hours a day. So last night I went to get her one, and got sucked into adding a Breakfast Jack to the order. I ate it before I even got her sandwich home.
Is it bad that I thought a Breakfast Jack meant a little Jack Daniels in the morning?
I assumed it was oatmeal made with JD.

Good value pick right there. Hawkeyes are garbage.

I do like Washington Huskies as a home dog tonight against Stanford.

Small parlay:

Huskies +225 w/ Under 48.5

$20 to win $104.9

Now bet the other side!

Line is 7 now. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Does Kirk Ferentz make enough money to buy the entire state of Iowa?

Yes. I still can't get over Auburn hiring away Chizik after he left Iowa State a burning heap in two short years. Looks like a Cam-free Chizik isn't so brilliant.

I was scratching my head when Guz Malzhan left Auburn for Arkansas State, but now? I think I get it.

I hope you're right
I doubt it. Bet the UNDER in the Rangers/As tilt today thinking the two teams would battle it out with strong pitching. That thing died in the 3rd inning. Also took As +1.5 thinking it would be tight. Ooops, Rangers bats.

Yes, she was in the "rotation" in my younger days. I think I just threw up in my mouth.. just a little!
I bet 4th place HFFL money would get you a full night with her now. :X
For that kind of money you could probably get a full night, AND a complimentary breakfast buffet at whatever hotel she happened to be staying in.

why do women like the phone so much?

should i be complaining since it's much easier to pretend listen over the phone? maybe i'm doing this all wrong.

That's a good question. I listen to AngryWife talk on most of my drive home then she wonders why we have nothing to talk about when the kids go to bed.

best thing about being unemployed--I'm 700 pages into Infinite Jest. Never had time to read it before.
Very nice. I picked it up the other day too - 90 pages in and going slowly due to work-reading.**I really need to get the @##$ out of education.

I fully expect it to go like Gravity's Rainbow, which took five months of starts and stops to get through. I loved it, but there's something about 500+ page novels that wear on me. After 400 or so pages I get tired of hearing the same voice and need to read something else for awhile. Then I come back to it. Did the same thing with Underworld.

I picked up a book from the freebies at work that was about the espionage surrounding the Manhattan Project that has been an interesting and easy read. Last night, I looked at the back cover and saw that it was classified as "Adolescent Non Fiction" and it made the easy read part make sense :bag:

I also recently read The Scar by China Mieville who I love. One line in the book particularly tickled my fancy - "She went to bed with an irritated burst of boredom." For some reason that just struck me as a brilliant line.

I'm done rambling now and am going to go drink some German beer (or bier).

I don't believe either of them have ever posted in here, but I could be wrong.
DO their names rhyme with jumpcrack and dimsofret?
No, one rhymes with Utchins and the other is four names in one. They just suck the fun out of everything by their very presence.

Did I ever tell you guys I got to tour the Modern Family set last week? Sat on the couches and everything. We were originally told we were going to meet the cast, but somehow it never happened. Seeing Sophia Vergara and Julie Bowen and that hot younger girl and Al Bundy in person would have been a lot more fun than sitting on some stupid couches.

We are 4.5 years living in "the house of our dreams" and my wife suddenly decides an overpriced house down the road would be better for our family since its on 5 acres. Admittedly, it's a great house and we have always talked about moving to that neighborhood, but a Thursday morning of "that house is for sale...we should move" followed by five hours of me being taught how much of an ####### I am for not loving the plan means im drinking a lot tonight.

Marriage is awesome.
