GM's thread about nothing (38 Viewers)

Dear GadZooks,I do not know your age, station in life, nor goals. That said, dating your Barber has four possible outcomes. 1. You go out a few times and nothing comes of it. No harm, no foul. Outcome - neutral.2. You go out a few times and it becomes a full relationship and it ends in such a way that you are at fault and the bad guy. Boss is mad and you need a new barber. Outcome - negative. 3. You go out a few times and it becomes a full relationship and ends in such a way that she is the bad guy. Outcome - slight positive.4. You go out a few times and end up as the son in law of the president of what appears to be a successful, somewhat decent sized company. Discounting the neutral result, you have a 2 in 3 chance of having something good come of asking her out on a professional level, not to mention sex and free haircuts. I'm not sure you'll find better odds anywhere, especially as haircuts are involved.
Repeat the above with probabilities attached for each.
#3 seems least likely to happen#4 seems unlikely, but I guess you never know#2 this is slightly possible but not because I'm a bad guy, it's because I'm an idiot and when I lose interest I don't have the guts to end things, I usually just string things along until the girl gets sick of me being "distant"#1 is probably the most likely outcomeI'd like to think that in all of those scenarios there's a chance of me banging her on the board room table while making a shot video
I nailed George strait's personal assistant on his desk two nights before he won a CmA award. It was worth it.

Zooks. If you've learned nothing in your nearly 40 years on this planet, please know that you should follow your wang wherever it may lead you.

Yours in Christ,

Homer

We are 4.5 years living in "the house of our dreams" and my wife suddenly decides an overpriced house down the road would be better for our family since its on 5 acres. Admittedly, it's a great house and we have always talked about moving to that neighborhood, but a Thursday morning of "that house is for sale...we should move" followed by five hours of me being taught how much of an ####### I am for not loving the plan means im drinking a lot tonight. Marriage is awesome.
I hope you have the time of your life
is there more background to this or are people just that worked up over Green Day? was there a bet involved or some in real life encounter that sparked this Green Day related nonsense?
Apparently Truck has a man crush on the guy in green day that wears eyeliner and skinny pants and talks like he's from England. Never seen someone get so worked up over such a middling band. Anyway, now I get a lot of green day replies. Doesn't bother me.
1) We're not dealing with a very bright man here. I don't take issue with anyone who doesn't like the music of a particular band. But Colin's ideas on Green Day putting one over on people by pretending to be something they're not and whether or not they are "punk" (which is only an argument that 14 year-olds have), were grounded in a deep, festering bed of idiocy.2) He also said these two songs are "the exact same song." Just to let you know what you're dealing with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUTGr5t3MoYhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juhBVAnLkHk

What did the personal assistant win the award for and did he pitch or catch?

She was strinkingly hot. And easy.

surprised it took you this long. welcome.
Thanks cos. Hope all is well. I agree that there are certain movies that make no sense why I like them, but I do. I watched the matrix again for the first time in a while and was amazed that the Keanu facial expressions were almost scene for scene the same as point break.

ncaa leans on the early games?

I'm placing a third of a unit on each of the following (unless otherwise noted)

Minn +7 because of the forrestlove

PSU +2.5 because I've gone against them six time since the boysex scandal and lost every time

Ball St -3 I love to bet on a Ball team to win a ballgame

NW -12 because of my infinite and timeless hate for Bobby Knight

Wake Forest -2.5 because they are playing Duke

Ark +14 because A&M is not very good and A&M is a bunch of ####ing traitors (1.5u)

W Va -12 because this is 2012, not 2011 and Baylor is low on mojo (1u)

CFU -2 because Mizzou is a bunch of treacherous Kansas-farmer killing murderers

Miami Fl -2.5 because NC State is always horrible

Have you watched the Hogs this year? John L put the going out of business sign in the window last week. This is their first road game of the year, I think it could get ugly.

So ESPN promotes a HS football game featuring two highly recruited RBs. One of them is Fred Taylor's Kelvin.Too bad ESPN doesn't make sure the crew actually know what Fred Taylor looks like.http://www.bigcatcountry.com/2012/9/28/3426316/espn-fred-taylorAs an aside, I'm glad Fred shows his appreciation for the sciences by naming his son after the Kelvin scale.
They all look alike./peens

I need to find instances, preferably from public companies, of people going to strip clubs and charging the company for the expenses. I need to figure out if this is generally considered fine or is usually cause for termination. I figure this is as good a place as any for suggestions on (1) google searches that will get me this information, and (2) google searches that will get me this information without causing my computer to explode. Ideas?

Maybe my approach is too elementary, but wouldn't the company have a policy? I'm pretty sure I could get away with expensing a meal in a strip club (within our guidelines), but nothing else would be covered. Also, that would be stupid of me.We have reinsurance brokers with huge expense accounts (bottle service at clubs, finest wine and steak joints in Vegas, etc.) and I'm pretty sure that the only thing that is off limits for them is the strip club. Again, it's in their policy.

This is the only link I can find right now about a case I am familiar with. With your access to high-powered law-talking person data bases you should be able to find more. The embezzlement is what sent him to jail, but it started with him going to strip clubs on his corporate card.
