If anyone has the time or inclination, I'd appreciate feedback on my Albert Oaks listing in Austin at www.bedandbreakfast.com
Looks great. I'd stay there. Just some minor things on the description:
Sustainable Living In Beautiful Austin Texas- Looking for the perfect balance of country living in the middle of America’s most livable city? Looking for gourmet meals in a down-home setting? Looking for a laid-back and secluded atmosphere to share with close friends? Well, look no further…. because it’s all here… at Albert Oaks. Two acres and 8500 sq ft of sustainable living nestled among native oak trees, fruit orchards, and organic gardens on a private, fenced and gated lot in America’s best city to live, work, play, or retire. Yes, perfect balance, brought to you by Austin Texas and Albert Oaks. Give us a call to schedule a time to visit- take a stroll, share a meal, watch a movie or a ballgame with us or just stay a while.
I'd lose the ..... and use whatever the proper punctuation should be instead. Also need a comma between Austin and Texas above. Lose the hyphen after 'visit' and replace with comma. And yes I note the irony of me giving anybody lessons on proper English. ;)

Completely reeditedSustainable Living In Beautiful Austin Texas. Looking for complimentary gourmet breakfast in a modern, upscale home? Looking for a laid-back,casual and comfortable place with room to bring a dozen of your closest friends? Well, look no further…. because it’s all here… at Albert Oaks.

My NFL TOP 5

1. Houston - cruising to another easy win. Will run away with that division. They can start resting guys in week 12.

2. Baltimore - They should be undefeated. New up-tempo offense will be what carries them over the hump. Should get Suggs back for playoffs.

3. San Francisco - Minnesota was a trap game. They proved today that they are very much a top 5 NFL team.

4. Atlanta - In a tight one with Carolina, but I think they'll pull it out and deserve to be here.

5. NY Giants - Loved the way they beat up Carolina and think they will beat Phily tonight.

My NFL BOTTOM 5

32. Cleveland - Dog vomit. Just pure and utter dog vomit.

31. Kansas City - How in the world did they beat New Orleans in New Orleans? They are a joke.

30. Indy - Haven't seen too much of them, but I don't see anything more than 4 wins this year.

29. Tennessee - Regressed totally this year after a surprising start to 2011.

28. New Orleans - I think this season is officially lost.

yes, I'm that bored. home today with baby.

Verbiage was very good. Just some minor grammatical tweaks.I like how it caters to 'gay and lesbian travel'.

Looks good, pricing seems to be in line with comparable B&Bs. Maybe take a picture of a breakfast spread.

I'll try this one more time...

$19.37 ML Parlay - Pays $490.50

Giants +115

Redskins +110

Rams +120

Vikings +165
Come on Vikings...hold 'em here! If they hold 'em, should I play the Bucs ML?
Strong so far.
an in-game bet on TB now would offered a well-odded hedge.
I plunked down $41 whole dollars on TB ML before the game. After watching the 1st half, I think I'll just rest on doing anything more. The game I liked the most was Giants over Phily. Curious what the GMTAN crew thinks of that game.

Might hire some good looking lesbians eating breakfast too and posting that up there. I liked the pics. Very pretty place.

cosjobs, I like the listing a lot. My questions/suggestions:

-If space allows (don't know if there is a limitation), I'd expand the description to be more clear about what your property offers that others don't. Seems like "balance" is emphasized, but I think from prior postings that you have much more to distinguish--maybe at least something about the specialized, personalized service you give each guest.

-I'd likewise expand the description of yourselves. Tell why you do this, what you love about having this property.

-Your price range is extraordinarily large so probably deserves an explanation.

thnaks K4, good thoughts.A problem for me in pricing is that I have a tiny little queen bedroom and a large three room suite with balcony. Compounding it is the fact that Formula One weekend here has exploded the lodging prices. The LaQuinta is getting $489 a night for their cheapest room. So the range is actually even larger than I show. I'm unsure how to resolve that.I also uncomfortable writing about myself and stuff, but I guess I need to buck up and do it.Good point on differentiating from others. Maybe go with that instead of the balance thing.

I like the balance part; just thought adding more would be good, too.On pricing, I don't know how that site works but at vrbo I put a range and then say that holiday rates are higher. If you can do something like that you could deal with Formula One. Or in any case, you could explain in the listing why the range is so broad--maybe play up how awesome the three-BR suite is.

RAMS ARE GOING TO WIN!!!! :excited:
:kicksrock:At least UW won
After Monday night, just consider this as balance being restored to the universe.
Meh. Bad calls aided the only GB scoring drive, the only difference is that the bad call that aided the Seahawks' last scoring drive happened at the end of the game. Seahawks lost this one on their own though. The Rams? Really? 13 points?

Cos> This may have been said before, but you need to play up what makes your place unique. The writeup is relatively generic. The quality and sourcing of the food you provide along with the gardens and trail (or whatever you've got out there now) are something a guest can't get everywhere.
