GM's thread about nothing (40 Viewers)

Tis, SLB. This ain't resort living. I think it's better. And I'm nowhere near as outgoing as you and others here are. Fireworks still popping. Many mopeds with entire families going by. A two horse carriage a bit ago. And the vehicles! Hybrids abound. Not electric/gas but Ford fronts with Datsun ( I swear) beds. I've seen at least a dozen buses that would blind the Partridge Family (all with custom horn melodies).
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

For those following along, there 42,000 double doors/Dutch doors/windows-that-are-bigger-than-doors in the living area. Oh, and an opening in the roof for the ####### POOL in the living space. Ceiling fans abound and there are two oscillating floor fans. The bedrooms each have their own AC units.

Btw, I'm staying in the 1st bedroom to the left as you walk in. The one up top has incredible views, but stairs and I aren't the best of friends these days. The other on ground level has two Q beds.

Well whatever you do, make sure not to post any pictures.

If you hire an escort - and here I'm not making any recommendations, I'm just curious - would they arrive in a Chevette Pick-up with the horn blasting the horn R. Dangerfield used in Cadyshack?

OK, just so I understand: For the SECOND STRAIGHT YEAR, a player Mack Brown thought might be a decent defensive back won the Heisman. Amirite?

:wall:

So how many million more times do we have to hear about Johnny Football?

Cool that he won it as a freshman, but they might as well just rededicate the Heisman as the best offensive player in college football

Just got done watching Polar Express with the boys. Cal had his sleigh bell in hand at the end ringing it along with the kid. "I can still hear it, I still believe". Pretty cool.

OH, I may have misunderstood Julio and it may well be Rudolfo's connection. I couldn't keep up with some of his threads. I thought he was telling me about snakes butt it morphed into corrupt police and almost running some dude over - in the same sentence.
This is also normal.
I have a midget neighbor lady
Oh yeah, forgot to mention her.

At the house next door to that one (the pink house) live Steve and Ilenia, from whom I bought the house. He's an older US guy and she's Nicaraguan, and they have two young daughters, but he's not the typical "old gringo down there to score young tail". They're both very sweet and lovely people. You should stop by and say hi.
wtf?

:goodposting: oops, I described the place and every restaurant in a 30 minute radius in guster-esque detail but neglected to mention that the neighbor is a midget :lmao:

I never mentioned her because Krista never mentioned her and I thought that perhaps only I could see her. Didn't say anything in case the wee one grants wishes or Krista tries to have me committed.

Alright, I need some help on a present idea for my parents.

With Thanksgiving being focused around my mom, my day's birthday (65th) was pretty much neglected.

He's also retiring in early January - my dad is the HR manager over multiple locations in the northeast and typically works from ~5am to ~5pm and has done so for the past 15+ years. On top of that he is very active in the Knights of Columbus and was the head guy in the state for the last 2 years and now is taking on more of a national level roll. So he stays super super busy...busier than I could ever imagine.

My mom's birthday is in early January as well, so it would be good to have at least something relevant to her as well.

With all that and Christmas, I feel like I have to do something big for him/them.

When they were out here for thanksgiving, my dad mentioned that they had this wine at a restaurant and both loved it, but they can't find it in stores. He even sent me that picture in an email with "great wine" as the subject. So I feel like I need to get a case of that or something for them.

My dad also loves cribbage and enjoys the occasional glass of bourbon and a nice cigar. The thing is, I had been getting him bottles of Woodford for any occasion (that's my go to because I took him on a tour for his 60th birthday and I don't know when the last time was that I saw him enjoy himself that much), but when I was home earlier this year, I saw that he still had one full one and almost all of another bottle.

They are also very devout Catholics, so things relevant to that or the Knights of Columbus would probably excite them.

I'm not loaded by any means (child support, :bye: ) but could swing something in the $200-300 range

So...any thoughts?
Talked to my parents earlier tonight... They are getting me a large BGE for Christmas :excited: So far I have ordered my dad a nice new cribbage board and a couple decks of nice plastic cards...gonna look for that wine online and see if I can think of something else too

I'm pretty sure you can charge double when the neighbor is a midget. I really hope she has midget parties and stuff.

1997. The year my college house threw a party that I kicked off by maneuvering two hot blonds from the soccer team into my room. One was a friend, the other was her friend who was sad and angry that her boyfriend had just dumped her. *knock knock* "It's me, Opportunity." In the smoothest move of my life, I made us all drinks, turned on my black light, then busted out the phosphorous paint. We began painting each other, running fingers along our faces and arms. My shirt came off and we ended up on my bed so they could paint my chest. Just as they started a housemate barged into my room. The dickmitten had smoked himself into Wozian levels of social ignorance and completely ignored the situation by sitting down in my desk chair. I wanted to kill him. I tried to give the subtle hint to GET THE @#$% OUT!, to which he responded by blurting out that my ex-girlfriend had just arrived and was downstairs with her friends looking for me. I groaned. Damn my conscience. I got up, put my shirt back on, wiped the paint off my face, and escorted the girls out. Later that night I ended up with the ex-girlfriend, who shortly became re-girlfriended. I married her a few years later. 1997.
#1: I can't tell if this story had a happy ending or not#2: I was aroused while reading it and can't stop picturing Mrs SLB and Mrs Frosty painting my chest while Woz watches
#1 - I know exactly what you mean.#2 - :lmao:

This thread - nothing happens. Then Woz shows up every few months and tries to make it about him. One of ours sacrificed himself to get rid of Beej. And the wheels off single guys make us married folk feel extremely jealous and extremely relieved about our marital status, often at the same time.
I didn't think it could be done, but Bently pulled off the impossible. :applause:

Random Drunk Girl: Ok so it's weird cause my ex is here with his new girlfriend. You're cute. Can I flirt with you while I'm here?

Your Boy Homer: Wanna just go outside and make out for a little bit?

Long story short, pretty sure I'm getting laid tonight.
