Just wanted to give a quick update on my BIL. He had the surgery on his hand yesterday and had the ventilator tube removed. The surgery went very well. He is still in the Shock Trauma unit but we are hopeful that he will be moved to a regular room tomorrow. We went to see him tonight and he seems to be doing very well. He is pretty much stoned to the bejesus belt on the pain meds. His memory is coming back pretty good, although not sure if he remembers the accident as I only was in his room for a few minutes. I wanted his wife, my FIL, wife, stepmom and Aunt visit with him more. I know I have said it before, but thank you all for the positive waves sent his way and to our family.

Thanks.We had a pretty good day today. Took JR all around the hometown. Visited with some farmer friends of my dad, hung out down at the uncle's mechanic shop and did some burnouts in the motorized golf cart, played with family and drank a ton of beer.
