GM's thread about nothing (40 Viewers)

You know that broad I ranted about quitting right? Well I just had lunch with the buyer of her largest client. By largest I mean 80% of her business. Oh I wasn't trying to woo him, he asked us to consider hiring him as a salesperson to take her place. He talked on the phone about he could retain the business he is in charge of now no problem.

So we meet at a place that I thought was a little more upscale, particularity on the outside, and we get seated. There were a couple of big flat screens on the walls and it showed this shooting in Connecticut I start to tear up and was on the verge of absolutely balling.

I'm sure he was impressed.

Just sick to my stomach. I'm headed home to get the boys off the bus. I need a hug.

When I get home I am giving my daughters bigger hugs than normal, and then getting really really drunk.
Way ahead of you on the drunk part. I left work at lunch, went to the bar, then came home to watch the boys while AngryWife does Christmas shopping.
Christmas shopping is perfect for AngryWife. Maybe she can knock over a few other AngryWives and get the good stuff.
You know it's a success when she comes back bloody.
It's not her blood.

People that feel the need to discover/uncover every detail about a tragedy...almost in real-time...and then claim they are nauseous and/or crying baffle me.
I don't get that either. I'm a religious talk radio listener and I won't even turn it on any station right now. So ####### horrible.
You listen to Christian radio?
Bob's God is an awesome God.
:goodposting:He never asks for money too. Previous post was poorly worded. I'll be getting wasted later if anyone is interested.

I don't think your pastor would approve.

From Tyler Durden today.

Scrores strip club in New York is offering to pay the $16,000 Lindsay Lohan owes on her storage locker, which will be put up for auction if she can’t pay, and the rent on her house in Beverly Hills for the next few months, in exchange for hosting an online chat on their website.

And they don’t even want her to strip, which is understandable at this point.

Hopefully she says yes because it’ll show how desperate she is. By this time next year, for $5,000, she’ll wear a horse mask and let you shoot her with a paintball gun.

Got my Secret Santa loot just now. I'll let you guys figure out who it was from.

First of all: Good thing the sender wrote "fragile" all over the box or maybe there would have been more than two holes in the box. :lmao:

A sample pack of St. Louis Shafly beer. Fortunately there were only two casualties out of twelve. I need to cut down anyway. :lmao:

The biggest crime Thank god the picture itself was undamaged.

The rest of the haul:

1210 pack of delicious beer.

A 10th Annual RLS hat (2011)

TWO sections from the Post-Dispatch from when the Cards won the WS in 2006.

A bag of Old Vienna chips (which look awesome)

A jar of Zia's pasta sauce.

A jar of Zia's dressing

A Kenzie's Kakes gooey butter cake

A jar of Super Smoker's BBQ sauce

A 1982 Terry Bradshaw football card (No so near gem-mint)

An Empire Strikes Back 'Secret of Yoda' card (the secret is that he's really a muppet)

A copy of "Mastering Rubik's Cube" by Don Taylor (1980)

A CDRom of Bob Dancer's WinPoker!

A Vanliner Insurance Company hand sanitizer spray-pen (my 18 year old thought it was breath spray...should have let him do it)

A sample pack of business/office supplies including pens, post-its, printer paper, and notepad

A bottle of Augusta Vidal Blanc imported* wine

*from Augusta Missouri

And last but not least...

A brand new copy of "Brokeback Mountain" on DVD

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was pretty bummed out on the ride home thinking about what happened in Connecticut. Got to come home to a big box of fun.

Thank you, Secret Santa!

The wine is for your wife. I had to guess if she preferred white or red. Went white on a hunch.

:lmao: I could read it. I speak (write) scribbles too. I think UPS thinks that "fragile" is French for "don't kick the box too hard." The good news is that nothing else, besides a couple of beers and the pic frame, was damaged. And it seems all the beer leaked out the bottom.

I've got my work Xmas party tonight. Since it's at our principal's house we have to bring our own booze (he drinks but he's just not supposed to provide for us). I'm bringing some of my Schaflys but not sharing. If they want St. Louis beer they can have Bud.

She prefers red but will drink either. She's kind of a slut.
